These superhero capes arrived quickly and come as a convenient 8-pack, which makes them a great option for group settings. I’m using them in a daycare and really appreciate that this set includes designs that appeal to both girls and boys, as many costume sets tend to lean heavily one way or the other. The masks are made from felt with elastic bands and are noticeably more durable than expected. The capes themselves are a lightweight, flowy satin-style fabric and are a good size for young children. Where this set falls short is the Velcro closure on the capes—it is glued on rather than sewn, and several pieces pulled off easily during use, making the capes impossible to secure without repair. This is an easy fix with a needle and thread, but it’s inconvenient for a brand-new product and can be frustrating in a setting with excited, impatient kids. The kit also includes small finger lights, which are a fun bonus, but they do raise a safety concern. Each light contains small button batteries, and the plastic is similar to what you’d find in a quarter-machine toy. In environments with younger children, these would need to be removed or closely supervised due to choking and battery hazards. Overall, this is a cost-effective set that offers good variety and enough pieces to accommodate multiple children at once. The masks are well made and the capes themselves are nice quality fabric, but the Velcro attachment and the inclusion of small battery-operated toys detract from an otherwise solid group play option. These are really, really great! With the included masks and the little light things that shine designs on the wall! I gave them a three star because the Velcro has already come off! It is not sewn on. It’s like just sticking onto the material and I have to safety pin it to remain a cape.

The quality was better than expected. Seems very durable and hopefully easy to wash. Several to choose from for both boys and girls. This would make a great Halloween costume too. Good value for the money.
