So I got a replacement roll and right now I’m loving it. It was harder than I thought it was going to be, but that’s because I’m not the kind of girl that does this type of stuff. If you do this type of stuff then it will be easy for you. The paper is pretty and I would say good quality for the money. When applying you have to be careful not to tare it. For me it tore easily or maybe I wasn’t handling it right. All in all it was a good purchase and I would purchase again. It’s very pretty once you get it on. Worth it in my opinion. I think this role is damaged It has indentions in the role. I don’t think it’s supposed to be like that. So disappointed as I wanted to complete a home project over the holiday.

This wood peel-and-stick wallpaper looks nice and feels like good quality at first. The thickness is decent, it is easy to cut, and the grid lines on the back make installation much easier. It gave my project a clean wood-look finish without needing paint or real wood. My biggest issue is the color consistency. I ordered multiple packs of the same product at different times, and the shade was noticeably different. That made it harder to match sections, especially on larger projects. After a few months, some areas also started lifting, especially in spots that get more use or need to be cleaned often. The areas that were wiped down more frequently also started to fade, so this may not be the best choice for high-traffic surfaces, kitchens, or places that need constant cleaning. Overall, it is good for small decorative projects or low-touch areas, but I would recommend ordering enough rolls at once to avoid color differences. For anything that gets a lot of use, I may redo it with a more durable paper.

I used this for a tabletop and countertop to cover my old ugly lenolium, and it’s held up extremely well! It’s been atleast 6 months and you can barely tell it’s not real unless you look very hard. The tabletop that hasn’t gotten as much traffic is still in perfect condition and looks so real. For the price this is excellent quality contact paper and I would recommend it for simple projects, but also know it would stand up to surfaces that are used everyday!!

This contact paper "feels" nice, but that's about all I can say. I am no stranger to peel and stick wallpapers...several walls and countertops in my home have been covered. This wallpaper did not impress me. Out of the box, I was disappointed because it was darker than expected and had an orangey red tone. It was difficult to position and lay without a millions creases or bubbles. I will say though, it does stick quite well, especially to itself (be warned). All in all, I finished covering my countertop and said to heck with all the creases. It is what it is. Even though it doesn't match my other butcher block countertop, its far better than the blue "granite" that is underneath.

I wanted to put a new work surface on my desk. I was sold on this and decided to order it because of words like "vinyl" and "countertop" and "waterproof." It had a nice feel to it and it I liked the color but it ends there. To prepare the desktop, I scrubbed it first with hot water and dish soap. Then, I rinsed it to get all of the soap off so that it stuck well. Then, I used some rubbing alcohol that I keep in a small bottle to prep the desktop surface to improve the bond. I worked with about one inch at a time to ensure there were no wrinkles or bubbles. It laid out well and rubbing something like a a credit or ID or gift card to apply it is very helpful. About 75% of the way through the tedious job of applying it to a large desktop, I discovered that rubbing alcohol destroyed the finish when the bottle bottom was wet with alcohol. It literally ate the picture off of the "contact paper." Well, I finished the desktop but I don't expect to get more than 4 or so months out of it. I expected better from the product description. I like to keep the desk clean because sometimes I eat while I work there but I have no hope that this will last and I am contacting Amazon customer service as soon as this review is approved. Heartbreaking after all of my efforts to do a good job. I wonder what spilling beer or a cocktail would do to it. Shame, it looks beautiful and was easy to work with and I took my time.

I was admittedly skeptical when I bought this, but I'm VERY impressed with the results! I used this contact paper (the butcherblock-style version) to cover the tops of several black IKEA "Kallax" cube bookcases. I wanted to lighten up my home office a bit and bring in some more natural tones. For less than $20 (three rolls of the contact paper) I covered the tops of all my bookcases and it looks like a totally new room! The vinyl contact paper applied easily. It definitely helps to have a second person assist you with applying the contact paper, especially for longer sections. The paper is very tightly rolled, so once you remove the backing you need to make sure it does not "roll" back onto itself and stick. But overall it was an easy process and only took about 5- 10 minutes to cover each large bookcase, razor-knife the edge and smooth the corners down. The vinyl seems sturdy and it has a nice smooth finish that is good for surfaces. Overall, for the price I'm extremely happy with how this turned out. Way cheaper than spending hundreds of dollars on new furniture!
