I bought it for my living room sliding door, but the size is too long, so I returned it. But I did purchase another size for a replacement though. Long, straighten, soft, and luxury.     • Good curtains for the price; not blackout or thermal curtains, but are room darkening

The photos and description are misleading, which based on experience I figured might be the case when I ordered these. The description says the curtains are "light blocking" and "sun blocking" as well as being "thermal insulated." One photo shows a black backing, giving the appearance of having a separate backing in addition to the faux velvet. However, the black backing is just the backside of the faux velvet. There is no separate backing, as some reviews have mentioned. Since there's no extra backing and the faux velvet isn't very thick, these curtains are just room darkening, which is fine for my needs, and there's no extra thermal value to these versus any other curtain, which is fine for my needs too. So, these are not blackout or thermal curtains, but are regular room darkening curtains. They are very similar to Ikea velvet curtains if you're familiar with those. That said, these do have a nice look and a nice feel, and they seem sewn well and evenly. I plan on buying more of these since they come in the length, material, color, and grommet type I want all at an inexpensive price. I would love to find these in a 2-3 foot wider size at the 84" length, such as to go with a sliding patio door or with a picture window that has a double-hung window on either side so that I just have two panels instead of four. ... show more
