If you have an expensive car or a complex dent and you want it to look perfect. Hire a PDR professional, it is definitely an acquired skill. If you are like me and have an older car but still want it to look nice and enjoy DIY projects this is a outstanding kit. It has everything you need with the exception of a battery for the light which the seller points out. I pulled multiple small dents from door and quarter panel from a black car. They were removed over 80%, so you would not notice them unless I pointed them out to you while looking at the correct angle. Which was totally acceptable for me. The key is to make sure to clean and remove any wax/coatings/dirt from the paint, before applying the glue. It going to take many pulls to step by step reshape the metal outwards. Be patient, pay attention to the amount of flex of the actual sheet metal. Different areas (middle of a door lots of flex) and wheel well (very little flex) will require different techniques and strengths. I used a combo of the slide hammer and slow puller depending on application. The small body hammer was excellent as well, nothing fancy but got the job done. The different size and shape pull tabs were extremely helpful. I didn't use the provided glue gun, I used my cordless one instead. I was quoted $450 to pull all the dents from my car. If it was a newer and very nice car, I might have done that. But it wasn't worth to me on my older car. For the $70 on this kit, I am happy with the results. Also, can use it on other potential cars in the future. Just keep in mind, go slow its going to take several pulls and tapping. But the patience will pay off. Don't expect perfection especially on a dark car. Overall a great kit DIY kit.

*Super PDR Paintless Dent Repair Kit 148PCS Dent Puller Kit with LED Light Board* ****EDIT - I am changing my rating a bit to 3 1/2 stars because the seller contacted me and offered (and gave me) a full refund for my entire purchase, as well as offering me a replacement light board with a battery. Top notch customer service in my opinion!**** I bought this a few days ago and used it yesterday. Here are my thoughts/complaints. First and foremost, my biggest complaint is that the light board takes some kind of special rechargeable battery, and they don't send one with the kit!...lol. EVEN THOUGH, if you watch the vids on it, they show the battery being put in. Few things irritate me more than false advertising, or failing to disclose pertinent details of the product and what's included. AND, the only way to plug in the light to actually use it is by USB. And you guessed it, unless your car is parked right next to some sort of USB outlet, the light utterly useless, unless you have a special USB adapter that is not included either. Also, the light doesn't offer much articulation, which makes things a bit more difficult as well. The rest of the items seem to work well. If I REALLY cleaned the area, AND the pulling tips, with 91% rubbing alcohol and a couple different clean rags that didn't have fabric softener on them from being washed, I had very little problems with the glue not sticking. In fact, most of the time, it stuck too good for me and was very difficult to get off. Also, I'm an above average mechanical person, and have detailed cars for decades as well, but if you think you're gonna just buy this kit and pull dents out and have it look perfect (or even really good) immediately, you will be wrong. I learned yesterday there is very much an art to this, and learning the metal rigidity of your vehicle takes several tries to understand how hard to pull, as well as what size/shape tips to use, and placement and such. Pulling too hard results in the dent looking worse than when you started. Would I guy it again? No. Not because I'm not an instant PDR pro (I actually enjoyed the learning process and challenge), but because, for me, it's very difficult to use without the battery.

The bag is one compartment throw everything in there. Which is very unorganized considering how many pieces are in here. Glue holds REALLY well(i used the black tubes), just be sure to let the gun warm up for 5min or so. The fixed light, bending arm is REALLY short. One star removed because of the crappy bag and mainly because of bendy arm length which will cause me issues…

This kit worked really well for fixing a few small dents on my truck. It has a good variety of tools, so I was able to find the right one for each dent the LED light board was especially helpful because it made it easier to see where I needed to keep working. Everything feels solid and easy to use, and after taking my time, the dents were barely noticeable. It’s a great option if you like doing your own car maintenance and want to save money on minor repairs.

The glue gun doesn't get hot enough to melt the glue sticks and the tool that pulls up the tabs doesn't have enough lift to pop out the dents.

While I agree with other reviewers that this paintless dent repair kit (aka PDR) has a lot of parts and gizmos, I found it to be extremely frustrating to use. The glue gun takes about 10 minutes to heat up and then constantly spews small bits of glue out so you have to be careful where you set it down. The included LED board does not have a battery or one that is built in so you have to use an extension cord and USB power transformer to power it. I am not sure what size the battery for it is but it is longer than a AA battery. I gave up on it. The other parts are decent but what was most painful was the lack of any sort of grip on most of the dent puller parts. The rounded ones flat out would not stick and I had better luck with the perforated ones and even then guess what? Not one single hail damage spot came out. I sure had fun making lots of small little glue coins but that was about it. The bridger puller had the same issue as mentioned above not enough notches/perferation to get a good hold on the glue. I really wanted to like this kit and I even sprung for some high quality "root beer" glue in the hopes that it was a problem with the glue but I just don't think this kit is high enough quality to recommend. Don't even get me started with the little bag that came with it. It looks like nothing from the pictures. I'm returning for these reasons and cannot rate the item more than 2 stars.

It comes with everything needed to tackle different types of dents, and the instructions were easy enough for a beginner to follow. The dent lifter feels sturdy, the glue tabs hold well, and the LED reflection board really helps you see the shape of the dent while working. After a little patience, I was able to remove a couple of door dings and a small dent that would have cost much more to fix at a body shop.
