The durability is impeccable, depending how your set up, the way I got that skull so clear. I used a pressure pot which allowed me to pour thicker than a ¼" and practically little to no bubbles. I don't suggest pouring as thick as a ¼" unless your temperature and humidity in your room is absolutely spot on. Working with any kind of epoxy your temperature and humidity means everything. I make small things like jewelry, keychains and pens out of resin to sell and wanted enough supply not to be running out every week. This is a great price for 2 full gallons of resin. What I like is it mixes easy, cures under 6 hours for small molds, is crystal clear, a good enough quantity for lots of small projects and a few experimental large projects. What I do not like is all the bubbles even after slowly mixing, waiting and using heat. Clear pieces come out with lots of tiny bubbles. This stuff gets hot when it cures and setting time is around 30 minutes or so. I haven't timed it but it's quick. Now for beginners to resin that have not used THIS particular brand before and have used the resins that don't cure as fast, don't get hot or smoke and have virtually minimal odor... Pay attention, please! This resin once mixed cures fast within 30 or so minutes, so work fast and set up before mixing. Use in a WELL ventilated area or outside if you can. The fumes are no joke. Even in a room with windows open and a fan on the fumes are very strong. Use silicone or molds safe for resin because this stuff once mixed and in the process of hardening gets pretty hot. The silicone molds I use get so hot I can feel the warmth thru my gloves. Next big tip. Wear gloves. Cover your work table because mixed resin hardens and unmixed is a kind of sticky you do not want everywhere. Prepare your molds before you mix. If you paint your molds, get your mixing cups and tools ready... Once you mix the timer starts. I mixed and left my container sitting so I could prepare molds and within a few minutes the resin was already hardening to the point I couldn't pour any of it. Final notes.. Value for money, good quality for the price, ships fast, the mixing containers are great to have, hardens faster than most resins, crystal clear when hardened, easy to mix. I have learned from 40+ years of building "Heirloom Quality" Custom Woodwork- allow our tools to do the work, just use them correctly, EVERY Table Top Epoxy Resin -is Crystal Clear and like Liquid Glass is a "Tool", the "Learning Curve" to incorporate epoxy is not as difficult as I thought, the Possibilities are as many as your imagination is limited to ,I have used it and it's the very best, I have found that pouring a thin layer of "Table Top" epoxy allowing it to gel 1st, prevents the Deep pour from finding the leaks, the( "Thick Pour" is very thin when 1st mixed) I have several thousand Board Feet of 100+ year old Barn Wood I "Harvested" before it fell down and would have started to rot- using this "Table Top" epoxy w/ my Barn Wood, makes some very "Wild" Projects. And it saves the old dry fibers in my Barn Wood- To be used again for generations to come to enjoy .Made from high quality materials , with a High Standard of QC you get more than you pay for, I would highly recommend this for anyone with a good design and quality minded work ethic Thanks to all who reviewed this epoxy and to Amazon for the very good price, I give an A+ to Fiberglass Inc for all their First Class Product ... show more

Okay so all in all I would definitely recommend this product. I think it’s beginner friendly, not a bad smell (I still did it outdoors though), and it is crystal clear. I decided to try this product off of a leap of faith, I just saw it and I thought I might try this epoxy. Firstly I like that it is not overly thick, but it is a little bit on the runny side, but I prefer it to be more thin and easy to spread out than to be too thick. Secondly, it mixes with latex paint for color additives well, keeping in mind you don’t want to add more than appx. 1/16 of latex paint to your epoxy - so make sure you do a good base priming and painting coat! Thirdly, I like that this product is crystal clear with white colors and as a clear coat over white colors. The first two pictures with the blue sinks, I used this product to make the base color coat as well as using it for the clear sealant coat and you can see for yourself, it’s bright white. I also used it to attempt a DIY shower renovation, which I followed the technique I saw on YouTube, and the product cured so beautifully. Unfortunately I sealed it with another product( the very last picture) because I was running out of time and that product offered prime shipping but it was not nearly as clear as this one. I am giving it 4 stars because I’ve only ordered one batch, so when I do order again, I will be able to update and speak on the consistency in quality of the batches. I did not experience any issues with the ratio, the curing time, and the working time was well over 30 minutes. I didn’t have excessive bubbles. I do have both a blow dryer I use for epoxy crafts and a torch but a simple blow dryer was way more than sufficient. I am just an average DIYer, this was just a project I saw and wanted to try out and as this is my guest bathroom, I don’t really care for the suggestions that I should’ve used tile etc, it’s what I wanted to try. I will say this has held up wonderfully, I made sure to waterproof every surface I could and silicone everywhere that I could think of. I am exceptionally pleased with this product! ... show more
