Perfect small bag. I own a larger Cortech bag same style that I use for touring. Wanted something smaller for daily rides commutes etc. Perfect size for tucking down on the gas tank when riding aggressively (which I do a lot!) and expandable for grabbing some groceries on the way home. I installed this on my 2007 BMR RT. It took a bit of work to get the straps properly adjusted, but it sits really nice on the tank, releases and reattaches easily, and provides plenty of volume for my needs (mainly spare eyeglasses, lens/faceshield cleaning kit, wallet, garage door opener, USB wires/battery pack, snacks, a largish ~1L water container. ... show more

    • 3 years of use... Zipper gone bad
I've loved the style, size, fit and convenience of this tank bag, but now after 3 years of use the zipper teeth no longer align and zipper is not closing. Nothing else has failed. Do I spend another $80+ and hope to get more life out of the same bag? Don't know yet...

I couldn't find a nice small HD tailbag in the configuration/shape i wanted so I purchased this, tank bag and with some effort manged to strap it to the luggage rack on my R1200GS. I use it to hold my very large, heavy chain and lock. a far better solution than full luggage...around town.

    • Love this bag
This is my second Cortech tank bag, my first lasted about 4 years then the zipper split!, replaced it with this same bag with the upgraded expansion, but they took out the front zip pouch which was great for storing chapstick will miss that feature but like the expansion option.
