Case arrived promptly (tnx Amzn). Cons: Another reviewer mentioned these already: Just FYI, the screen does retain fingerprints...allot. But they're simple to wipe off. (So for me, an inconvenience but not a significant reason to piss on the case.) Also, just for FYI, the case does add bulk to the already large Note 9 phone. [But I can't fault Samsung or the case for that. Protection of this level comes at an exchange-cost. Size (bulk) for the confidence of higher protection for what is now a delicate GLASS-encased almost $800-1000 dollar phone/mini-tablet/etc. For those who complain about the added "bulk" of the case after reviewing all the available cases & reviews, & still decide to purchase the Sup Case (or similar protective case)...really!? Get over yourself, you made the decision to purchase one of the largest phones on the market.) Pros: Assembly instructions were included in the package but if they weren't; there are numerous internet videos demonstrating how to assemble & disassembly the Sup Case. The Sup Case was easy to assemble (even without the instructions). Both the Sup Case screen protector as well as the back rubber case fit snuggly around the Note 9 as well each other. The small access doors at the bottom of the Sup Case for the speaker plug-in & the external power connector also are easy to access, open, and close securely. (*Perhaps over time & consitent use they might break off...IDK.) The case isn't fully sealed, and so not submersible but I feel confident that it will handle the limited exposure that it might get when handled in the rain or foul weather. (If it gets dropped in water - I would immediately, disassemble the case & dry out the case & phone. The Sup Case easily even fit over the tempered glass screen protector that I had already installed and chose not to remove. There has been no lack of screen sensitivity going through both. Also awesome, the Sup Case does allow for induction/ pass-thru charging. And, there is a small pop-out stand-leg on the back of the phone that snaps into place. (*Perhaps, over time & consistent use the locking snaps might break or the pop-out stand-leg itself...IDK. With this too; avoid being careless. Same with the small rubber access doors at the bottom; take a little care & your time when using them.) The case isn't stylishly attractive but it's not meant to be. It has a functional purpose which I need! I'm very rough on my phones; they are tools. So the included Belt-Clip-Snap-in Carry Case adds even another layer of protection (*& bulk). The phone snaps easily in & out of the included belt clip snal in carry case. (Repeating myself...with a little care, the clip on the clip-case should last for at least as long as the belt clip case.) Yes, I would recommend the Sup Case, and at this price - buy it again. Best of use to you.

Feels excellent in the hand after you put it all together and I love the screen protector that's built in and on the back of the case there's a kickstand not the carry-on clip put on the case with the phones in. It did not work with my magnetic charger, but it will work with the regular USBC. I'll sacrifice that with strength and reliability anytime over charging magnetically. The buttons are responsible color is great and water resistant. I love that the clip is adjustable.

I have been using supcase for many of my cellphones almost 3 years now and it has provided protection with no problems. last year when got my galaxy s8 plus I had supcase on it most of the time but just for few days I said let me try other cases which looked cool but once it dropped on the floor and had a lcd crack screen and that was with glass screen protector. So screen protector didn't absorb the drop and case didn't even help, I had to spend $250 to fix the LCD screen crack so after that I always made sure I have supcase when I am outside for long as u never kno . since then had my phone dropped to hard floor so many times and still no crack, so this case absorbs shock pretty good. One thing I did to this case with note 9 was took the screen protector that came with it as it wasn't feeling good while typing or using s pen. So I took the plastic screen protector that came with this case and replaced with glass screen protector and Now I have great experience while using the note 9 with s pen and also have peace of mind that my case will protect my phone if any drops happen. It is bulky if people want to know but I prefer better protection for my investment. Edit: A few observations that I did in the last 2 weeks with this case, since this case is bulky I tried to use samsung pay on several locations with this case on and its been hit or miss, sometimes it will work and other times will just get card reader and this happened to me when I had my galaxy s8+ when using samsung pay also happen to had supcase for S8+ but few days back when I switched to another case which is quite thin in profile than supcase the samsung pay worked fine with no hiccups. on note 9. So i knocked one star off as protection wise no doubt this case is the best for the value but some functionality becomes hit or miss because of the bulkiness of this case. So if protection is not your priority then may be look for another case but I will still keep this case as in my line of work if I don't use this case I will be breaking the phone more often then using one.

I've tried a few different cases in this price range, and I've previously owned otterbox defender cases, which are a whole different price range. I have to say this one is the best I've had. Not only is it durable and effective, it is also slimmer than any other case I've tried with this same level of protection. The case comes together nice and snug, and even with the cutouts for sound, sensors, and cameras, it rarely lets any debris in. Sweat or water can make its way under the screen protector, but a little water typically dries clear. The design includes a handy yet subtle cutout to begin disassembly, if you need to clean it. I think I've cleaned it once since I got it 9 months ago, and it wasn't wholly necessary. I am careful to not drop my phone, but not careful enough. Like an idiot, I left it on top of a 6 foot ladder while doing some work, and when I moved the ladder it fell onto concrete. No damage to the phone, and the case looks as good as the day I got it! I've dropped it a few times, but that was the farthest. Still doesn't show any damage to phone or case. My wife dropped her iPhone XR, which she has the equivalent case for, but she hadn't secured the kick stand, and the stand broke due to how it landed. It's still usable, but the little pins that keep it in the track broke off. The covers for power and audio are easy to flip open, and keep the dust out, and they leave enough room for various shaped plugs (unlike other cases I've had). Still, there is not enough room for the splitter I have, so I either have to remove the case or get a new splitter. I just opted to not use the splitter. The belt holster is an easy one handed operation, and clips securely on to something like a belt, where the end of the closed clip catches onto something. If it's on a pocket it could slip off. I wear it on the back of my waistband when I run (like 3 to 8 miles on trails), I just have to tie the shorts tighter to account for the heavy phone so it doesn't flop around. If it's not given the freedom to flop around, it stays secure and I actually prefer it over my arm band. The screen protector shows more fingerprints than the original glass, but I'm not expert as to why. It's really not a problem, just a fact. It's not like my old phone where I felt like I had to wipe it all the time. This one shows them a bit on black, but only when there's glare. Glare is probably just what it was with the glass screen. Nothing unusual. I hope they keep making great cases like these, and keep the price stable. If they do, I'll keep buying them without needing to redo all my research! It seems really well designed.

I love these products for how well they protect my phone. This is my 4th one. It does what its supposed to, which is protect my phone from drops and spills. The case itself takes the damage and for the price, its well worth it to for me to buy a new case as needed. The only issue I run into is the kickstands are very easy to break. I continue to use the case though as its a "nice-to-have" and not necessary. PRO: I think the value is the best thing. I've had more expensive brand name phone cases famous for taking heavy damage, and I feel like this one is on par with that, but with a slimmer profile and lower price. CON: Marked durability down on my review due to the kickstand getting broken so ridiculously easily, but I feel like this case does exactly what I need it to by absorbing the damage so my phone doesn't, and its a good tradeoff for me. Easy to install and replace, and each of my cases has taken a lot of damage (screens get scratched, corners have cracks, kickstands broken), but the phone inside has remained in pristine condition. Buttons are easy to press, the headphone jack and power input covers press into place easily. Screen protector works great, but may collect a little dirt and lint thats hard to get out from the corners. I've had each case anywhere from 6-12 months. There is no cover for the fingerprint scanner or camera lens/flashlight, just a beveled opening so you can use them. I'm a happy customer, and will keep buying as long as I have this phone.

When I first received the case, I really loved it and planned to order several more as I usually keep my phones for 5 years or more and I know that cases wear out over time. I do use my phone a lot and really liked the kickstand which allowed me to position the phone both vertically and horizontally. Pros/Strong points included a robust cover that is good at protecting the phone, not having to use another screen protector which takes time to install, easy to grip rubber surface, the case sits high enough above the touch screen to protect it in case of a fall, (though I rarely drop my phones and never had a touchscreen break in over 24 years of usage), and a very quality tight fit of the two pieces around the phone. However over time, some cons began appearing. 1) Firstly and this was about three weeks into owning the case, the clear plastic screen protector became quite scratched. Perhaps it was running into something else abrasive but I never carry my phones in my pocket but rather in leather belt clip holsters. I was surprised that the screen protector scratched so easily and it definitely makes reading the screen more challenging in that area. 2) I like to use magnetic mounts in my car, and on a magnetic tripod adapter to hold the cell phone while I am driving (hate it slipping off my lap while navigating) or if I need to take some pictures using a selfie/couplie stick or tripod. These magnetic mounts allow for easy attachment and removal of the phone yet holding them quite securely in place. With this phone case, the kickstand design does not have enough surface area to allow for the double-sided adhesive to hold a metal disk or rectangle firmly on it in order to engage the magnetic mount. I tried several times, but the type of plastic and lack of adequate surface area did not allow the adhesive to hold well and the metal disk or rectangle easily came off. The case is also quite thick so putting the metal plate on the inside of the case puts it too far away from the magnet and it would not hold. So I had to switch to using another case which allowed me to put that metal disk in place. 3) the flexible hinges for the individual port covers for the headphone jack and the USB-C ports are rather stiff. It really takes almost 2 hands to get the covers open and then one has to hold them back with one’s pinky in order to stick the headphone plug or USB-C plug into the phone. I suppose these covers may help improve water resistance on a phone that is already water resistant but I found them such a pain that I thought about using a razor knife to remove them. Given that the adjacent speaker port and the S-Pen ports are not covered, I have to wonder whether the protection these really offer is worth the trade off. There are pros and cons to everything. Determine how you use your phone and decide accordingly.

A nice decently priced substitute for an Otterbox case. Feels very durable, and comes with a kickstand to boot! Customer support is also very helpful and sent me a replacement after my first one started experiencing issues after a couple months. Pros: - Looks nice - Doesn't look super bulky or unattractive. Adds some bulk, but still looks relatively sleek. - Adds nice grip - The phone itself slips and slides too easily. I actually enjoy holding the phone with the case more than the phone on its own. The case adds a nice, almost fluffy, feeling and provides better grip than naked. However, the back is still a bit slippery when set down on a table or on your leg. - Kickstand - Somewhat solid and clicks into place. Allows for horizontal and vertical viewing. Can also be used as a holder ring/loop, though not very comfortable to use for long. - Adds some nice heft - Many may not like this, but I like the bit of extra weight it adds to the phone. - Port flaps keep dust out and are durable. Fun to play with. May divide opinion, however, as some may find them annoying. Fingerprint cutout - Has a nice, beveled guide that lets your finger easily locate and glide across the sensor. However, it does sometimes make pulling down the notification bar with the sensor a tad bit more difficult... - Wireless charging compatible. - Comes with a belt clip holster - Nice, I guess... But I have no idea when I'm actually going to use it. - Nice and helpful customer support. Cons: - A little too bulky - Note 9 is already a big phone. This adds quite a bit more bulk, especially at the top and bottom of the phone. - Case is essentially sealed - Good luck getting the phone out once you clip it into place. The case just does not want to let go! - Included plastic screen protector is absolute garbage - Just... no. Rip it out, spring for a different one. I got an LK tempered glass protector for ~$10 and it is much much better. - Plastic front frame not very durable - The case being sealed doesn't help either. The corner that has the little slit to pry off the backing eventually snapped, making both application and removal of the case much more difficult. Happened with my first case, has yet to happen on the replacement sent. - Kickstand may eventually snap - The little nubs that click the stand into position, both extended and flat, will eventually wear and may snap. Happened with my first case, wear is starting to happen on the replacement but seems to be lasting much longer.
