Let me spin you a yarn of just how good this case has performed for me. One fine spring day I was coming home early from work and decided to stop off and get gas just a few miles from home. I filled 'er up, jumped back in, and cruised on home with the windows down and the radio blasting. A picture perfect slice of Americarna on that Friday afternoon. And it was about 2/3 of the way home from that gas station when I realized something that sank like a stone in my stomach: I left my phone on the trunk of my car as I pulled out of the gas station. Yes, my still-working-as-good-as-new Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, wrapped up nice and snug in this attractive RED case, blended right in to the RED paint of my car's trunk, where I had set it down upon getting out of the car to pump my gas. And I drove off with it there. Panicked, I pulled over immediately and discovered that yes: the phone had indeed fallen off of my trunk in the ~1.5 miles that I had driven since getting gas. I'll spare you the details, but over the course of a 2 hour search, I actually did manage to find my phone! It had slide off my trunk and tumbled across the road at a point where I think I must have been doing about 55 or 60 MPH. it had come to a stop on the gritty gravel-lined shoulder, leaning against a guard rail post. And this case...this glorious, excellently designed, beautiful red case, had somehow managed to not only stay on the phone, but also protect it ENTIRELY from anything as severe as a single nick or scratch. Now, the case itself didn't survive unscathed: it obviously took a few scratches, and the clear plastic screen cover had dislodged and nearly completely popped out, but the case was still nice and snug on the phone, and honestly was still usable. I immediately ordered a replacement, and have no hesitation at all recommending this product to anyone who wants a case on their phone. A billion stars out of 5. Saved me not only the $700 it would have cost to replace my phone, but also the heartache of losing the mountain of photos that I hadn't backed up to external storage. Great case for the average consumer. Withstands daily wear.

(Skip to bottom for Pros/Cons) I'll start simple- you want to protect your phone from both scratches and drops, but don't want to spend $50 on a case then $20 on a separate protector (I'm not naming names, but we both know you know who I'm talking about). You're not some lunatic that's going to throw it off a building or something, so "HARD METAL MILITARY RATE-" yeah no, that's a no. Don't put your advertising in your merchandise title, guys- anyway, so you look for something practical and browse a bit. You find a case you've never seen before, the "Unicorn Beetle" and due to the sheer intrigue you look into it. Sure enough, it's a real series with an actual background in the industry (though new, but you understand you gotta start somewhere to get big). Rated for a 20' drop- a sensible height as a lot of men and women- self included- have suffered a phone loss at the hand of the ladder menace. The specs generally sound grounded in reality so you pop it in your cart and buy it. Well, you put it in your pocket with your knife, car key etc. Totally forgetting you're using a brand new $500 phone and not your old phone from ~2009. No scratches, no problems. Keep using it, don't make that mistake twice (and hopefully won't). Drop it a couple times, because the wireless charger is on top of the bed and you're too busy with work to set up a proper spot for it and you're groggy when you wake up. Still no problems. In short, if you're an average person who's going to expose this case/your phone within to average damage, and you're not looking to overspend, this is a great case for you at the ~$20 price point. If you dunk/soak it in isopropyl or other cleaners the paint starts to thin a bit, but that's a gripe that's completely irrelevant to what i look for in a case (as well as quite specific to situations involving said cleaners) and doesn't affect my rating. I'm giving it four stars to denote that it's useful to the large majority of the consumer base, while keeping in mind the fringe market minorities for which it won't do (i.e. Waterproof Cases). Pros: -Completely suited for everyday wear and tear -Withstands most out of the ordinary wear i would say is reasonable to prepare for -Will wirelessly charge with a good charger base, i use Samsung's. -Responsive "buttons," actually makes accessing volume/func buttons easier when put on correctly. -Doesnt seem to interfere with touchscreen input- even when as dusty as I've let this get. -Plastic(? I think) screen protector so the protector itself won't crack, scratch or shatter. -beveled by what I'm guessing is 1/5". -Fits the screen very snugly, but is "away" enough to avoid blocking anything. Cons: -Kind of annoying latch strength on the kickstand. But i rarely use it so don't care. -Dust loves the underside of the screen protector as it isn't airtight (most aren't nowadays, get used to that). If you live in a dusty environment, clean the screen every few days for best results. May have to rub off adhesive on fingerprint panel, but i don't use fingerprint so that didn't bother me. Don't know if it affects use. -No protector over the cameras. Not... Sure why? It's beveled enough to protect them from damage but it still makes me antsy with my finger there idk. -if, like me, you keep multiple SIMs, you will have to take off case to replace SIMs. -Removal is somewhat lengthy. Disclaimer: I don't use a lot of stuff like fingerprint so i can't speak to this case's compatibility with such. I'm very old-school, I'm upgrading from a 2009 phone, man. Tricky to separate at first glance. You are lifting the front bottom right corner, where the screen plastic cover meets the rubber sealer. Use a tiny flat screwdriver for easier separation. Instructions on this part was vague. The quality for the price is very good.

Amazing phone case I've had for years now just getting it replaced now. The old kickstand has broken and the charging plug cover has ripped off, but the case work as intended and did and amazing job doing it. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a great phone case to protect their device.

I have bought this case numerous times between my phones and my kids phones. It remains the all around most protective phone case I've ever purchased. We've never had any problems with the case fitting. The case is multi layered with a pretty thick edge that protects the screen along with the camera lenses. It has a closable flap where the charger plugs in to protect against water and dust when not charging. I've noticed that some come with the screen cover, some don't & some have both. I prefer without. Otherwise dust & other stuff gets trapped between the screen & the plastic and it's kind of gross.
