I had a Pixel 3XL phone for years and bought a Supcase Unicorn Beetle case for it, and it is still in excellent condition after years of use. The phone got dropped a few times but the case protected it perfectly. So, when I recently bought the new Z Flip 4 phone, I knew I needed a good case for it, and was glad to see Supcase offered one for it. I also picked up another companies case to try, and due to the folding feature of the phone, both say to use the adhesive tape that is inside of the two pieces of the cases. I tried one case fro the other company (UAG) on to the phone without the tape and it was easy to slide the halves up and down. I tried the new Supcase UB green case on it, and it fits like a glove AND is nice and tight without even using the tape inside of it. It doesn't slide at all on the phone and fits perfectly. It doesn't have any hinge protection like some other cases, but when my phone is folded, it's in my pocket, as I'm not one to carry my phone in my hand unless it's open and I'm talking on it or on the net. Otherwise it's open and on my desk next to me on a stand. If you want a very good, well built and a cool looking case that you don't have to use the tape on to hold it in place, I'd get this case. I own a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and I am prone to dropping my phone, so a quality case is essential. First, installing the two-piece case on the phone was simple. I followed the instructions provided by the manufacturer and it popped right in. The case fits perfectly and makes the phone feel even more solid than it already is. Next, all the ports, screens and lenses are easily accessible. For example, I have no problem plugging my charging cable into the port. Plenty of room. Also, before I had the case, I could not really open the phone one handed due to fear of dropping the phone because it is smooth and slippery. With the case attached I have no problem opening the phone with one hand. Oddly, the volume up and down, side buttons are reversed but it is not a problem. As for the belt clip, I left it off. First, I don’t have a need to have my phone on my side. It fits well, even with the cover, in my front pocket. Second, the belt clip is kind of bulky. I have dropped my phone twice from over 3 feet and did not get a dent or scratch. This cover is well made. I can’t think of a more durable and functional cover for this particular flip phone. Finally, this cover does not have hinge protection. Even without that, my phone survived two drops. So I give this cover a 5 out of 5 for durability and functionality. ... show more

The case is solid even though there is minimal hinge protection. However, I cannot say the same for the holster. if the phone is in the holster the clip is supported. However, if the phone is not in the holster the clip is not supported, and minimal pressure will snap it off. This happened to me as I sat in my office chair. Supcase UB Pro is my go to case. They are tough as nails and do a fantastic job of protecting the phone. It adds a good amount of "grippy-ness" to Z Flip 4. Has a raised lip around the front to help protect the main screen and also protects the front screen and cameras by being raised around them. Unlike like an uncovered Z flip, the Supcase removes the gap between the halves when folded which should help keep debris off the main screen. ... show more

I have purchased this case twice in the last 14 months and I am now looking at a third time. I like the look and feel of the case more than others and that's why I continue to purchase it. However, the reason why I have to make multiple purchases it because it just doesn't last long. In both instances, the bottom half of the case looses it's tightness around the phone as the side grips start to bend outward over time. The bottom half then starts to just not stay on at all. Each time this has happened to a new case, it has been around the 7 month mark. The case looks, feels, and works great up until the moment that the bottom half just fails. Overall, I do like the case enough to continue to purchase a new one every 7 months. As of this writing, I will be making my 3rd purchase of this case to get thru the next 7 months with protection. ... show more
