Ever since the design changes with Apple and Samsung phones screens, most electronics case developers have gotten away from the all in one protection including the screen protector. I never liked the on screen gorilla glass or ceramic covers. This is a major buying point for me. I wish UB had more color selections, but this thing for all the devices that I have purchased it for has been a beast. It has protected drops off of counters, on to cement, hardwood, bangs off of corners, etc. Solid keeping the devices bruise free. There are only two flaws that I find with this case. One is water resistance - Unclear what or if there is a rating (IPX68, IPX7, IPX8) but it does provide some coverage. Not 100%. With the mic/speaker and backing, there are manners to get liquid in the case. The other thing is the collapsible kick stand built into the case. This is great and dose come in handy, but eventually this will fail. This design needs to improved or make the hinges stronger because out of every devices that I have purchases UB for which is at least 10, this has eventually failed on all devices including the iPad. Overall this UB cases are solid, durable and a fantastic value. You will not loose any sleep in choosing this for your new device. The protection is legit. I bought one of these for my work iPhone a year ago. I've dropped it a number of times and there has been no damage to the phone at all. I just bought one for my wife's iPhone 13 and she loves it. I've had these on previous phones. The reason I purchase another is because I updated to a different phone. I have dropped these cases many times (some from ladders) and never damaged the phone. This phone has been with me on off road rides (open cockpit) through the mountains, deserts and sand dunes and has never let me down. Rugged and durable. The "kickstand" used to support the phone is difficult to operate but I rarely use this feature so not a show stopper. This is a great case fit perfectly and seems durable . Obviously I haven’t tested it by dropping my phone yet tho it’s bound to happen eventually since we all experience it. however the one thing that frustrated me is the kickstand is pretty stiff to get open and stiff to close back up like really unnecessarily hard to use it’s not a total deal breaker but again couldn’t give it 5 stars due to that again not a total deal breaker but still frustrating. It also comes with a removable holster which is good tho I probably won’t use it much.
