I got this to replace an OtterBox Defender after the charging port cover on that broke off. I bought this because it has a screen cover (Defender did not) and was half the price. I was ok with losing fingerprint functionality in exchange for protecting my Pixel from getting more scratches on the screen. To my surprise, the fingerprint functionality still works, and now my screen is protected as well. The case overall is much thinner than the Defender so it fits in my pocket better. I'm enjoying the kickstand feature, not only as a kickstand but because I can stick my middle finger in there while texting to increase stability in my hands. I haven't had the case long enough to judge durability, but it feels very well built. It also maintains the ability to use wireless charging, which the Defender does not due to being so thick on the back side. I think this is a great alternative to the more expensive name brand case that I've used for years over several phones. ... show more

    • Broke after 1 yr 8 months
I started using this in January of 2021. It just broke last week. The hard plastic interior broke in the top right corner, but there's no other visible damage. I'm pretty clumsy, which is why I buy big, protective cases for my stuff. This is no exception. It is very chunky and doesn't fit in a pocket very well. However, it is very protective, and my phone hasn't suffered any visible damage. The kickstand is a bit on the flimsier side. I fidget a lot and found myself toying with it a lot. It wore out quickly (with my fidgeting). It still works, but it has trouble holding my phone up in portrait mode - the stand keeps wanting to fold up from the weight. I had this brand case for my last phone (a Samsung Galaxy) and I'm a little disappointed in the quality this time around. It feels cheaper and less solid than the other one. ... show more

Owned this case for almost a year now and it's still working great! Dropped it so many times and nothing happened to the phone. After almost a year of use, the charging port cover thing no longer stays closed. When charging the phone, the cord forces the cover flap down which over time, has caused it to not seal properly. It comes with a holster XD, I feel like a 'proper dad'. But seriously it does what I want it to, protect my phone. The fingerprint scanner has been a bit finnickity, I would suggest setting up biometrics after you put your phone in the case, that may help. This is the second time I have purchased this case, the first time it came with a screen protector and the case was very functional, the kickstand broke so I ordered the case a second time this time no screen protector was included although it was indicated as included in the website description

    • (WARNING) - Item stop coming with the built in screen protector;
As even though the photo advertisements show the built in screen protector in all actuality the company stopped including the built in screen protector on purpose because reviews of the finger print reader in the built in screen protector shriveling and then not letting the phone work and also caused dust and dirt build up after the finger print for the built in screen protector wore off in a matter of a couple or so weeks. So it is a benefit to not have the built in screen protector but I rather have product advertisement complete honesty and transparency and as well updates to anything of the product(s) daily so there is no misunderstanding to the customers. As I was disappointed knowing it was gone with out my permission and paying for what is advertised. So in all the price is still worth the quality of the product!!! ... show more
