There is absolutely no give in this paddle, no flex, no wobbling, no breaking. It is sturdy, and well built. After one additional turn of the pressure lock tab it clamps down tight and doesn't let go of the handle. There's another spot with a pressure button to break it down even further for packing. It also comes with a second paddle that can be attached instead of the handle making it sit down double headed paddle like a kayak paddle. At first I thought the angle of attack on the paddle was a little aggressive. However after using it I really enjoy how it pushes and pulls the water and propels you forward effortlessly. This will be my new SUP/paddle board paddle, as well as I will bring the extra head mounted on my paddle board incase at any point I want to sit down I can just easily paddle without having to adjust or change much. just flip the handle for the head and get to sitting and paddling. Some paddles will twist or bend as you maneuver through the water, not this one. it's solid!!!! Nice and long when extended too. I'm 6'1" and it goes longer than I need for a SUP when fully extended. Also it floats when dropped in the water, which is super handy! I would recommend. Great product.

This is a surprisingly sturdy paddle. For the price, I was expecting something less robust, but I am confident my kids aren't going to break this one. The options for paddle type are really slick for folks that use multiple water crafts. To adjust, there are instructions to turn the clamp on the clamp. However, it doesn't turn unless you put the clamp at about a 25 degree angle and then put about 20-30 lbs of rotation force on the turn (just a little less than the torque needed to open a sealed pickle jar). I turned mine once and that was plenty tight to ensure the top won't come off. It took about 40 lbs of pulling force to get it out without the extra turn, so that might be enough for most folks, but I like being sure I won't lose it while I'm paddling.

I have a few inflatable SUPs and Kayaks, but we've lost a few of the paddles over the years, so I wanted to grab a new one online. Thankfully, this one covers both types of water toys, as not only can you use it as a SUP paddle, but you can pull the handle off and attach another paddle, making it suitable for a kayak as well! It seems to be built well, and feels a bit sturdier than the cheap paddles that came with the kayaks. The male ends also have caps on them, so they actually float a bit, giving you time to grab them. Not sure if there's foam in there too, or how water tight those caps are, but at least for now, they work great!

I like this paddle. It's comfortable in the hand and I like the option to have double sided, an extra long double sided or the adjustable length with a handle on the end. It is pretty easy to use & 'assemble'. It feels sturdy and doesn't take up too much space while not in use. I only wish it came with a storage bag or strap to keep everything together (no matter how you have it, you always have at least 1 extra piece that could easily get lost). It's not too long or heavy. Just works great and seems pretty good quality - I recommend.

This is wonderful. It breaks down to a pretty compact size. which makes it awesome for me because I've a full size regular paddle for my kayak and I have to wedge it in my car. This is only a few feet long, whether your using both paddles or the handle. It works great and seems quite strong. No issues with it coming apart or anything while I'm using it. Which was my only concern.

This set is soooo light but strong. Paddle ends are sealed and will float if dropped. The entire set collapses down to less than 3 feet. You can make it into EITHER a stand-up paddleboard oar with freely adjustable height, or a kayak style paddle with an almost 8 foot span. (For visual reference, each tile in my photos is 12") Bring the entire set with you, start out standing, and then if you want to sit down, you can swap out the handle for a second oar and kayak-paddle your way back while sitting down on your SUP. Very easy to adjust on the fly, you can do it out on the water while maintaining balance. Everything is so lightweight you can carry the unused 4th piece in a backpack or tied down to the paddleboard elastic straps. I'm so impressed with the quality and innovation of this set!!

We have two inflatable stand-up paddle boards used by people of various ages and abilities. One of our SUPs has an accessory seat so that it can be used sort of like a sit-on-top kayak. This paddle has the unique feature of being easily and quickly converted from a long single-bladed SUP paddle to a dual-bladed kayak paddle by unclicking the T shaped handle end and replacing it with a paddle blade end. When set up as a kayak paddle it is easy to paddle the SUP when one is kneeling or sitting. All the parts float so it is easy to change from stand-up to kneeling while on the water, storing the unused part under the bungee cord at the front of the SUP.
