The old cliches are true. I used to be in the pool biz, and my pool and equipment are all old, look like crap, and are just limping along. Just like me! Things never seem to work out the way we plan them, do they? I’m learning to be more fluid for the sake of my sanity. When the replumbing I’d planned on doing fell through, I was left with an ugly mess. And I saw this ugly mess multiple times a day. And because the stuff is old, and facing due east, and I’m in Florida, I worry about my 30 year-old fiberglass filter tank splitting open. What fiberglass is left is all exposed on the front from the sun (and hurricane winds and rains). This piece of wood fencing matched the other one and allowed me to make a good, strong anchor corner.S ome artifical hedge completed the perimeter! There was one dangerously rough edge (pictured), and a few rough spots, but not as many defects as the other piece of fence. Assembly was quick and easy, it’s just a little wobbly when you first start putting it together. If I could afford it, I would get several more of these and put a couple around the AC, the slab by the side garage door, the trash and recycling bins... I really like the fence, especially the light colored wood. 4 stars for lack of Quality Control on the rough boards.

Cute but the screws are so tiny and cheap that the first windy day, the joint snapped and the pieces fell flat on the ground

12-30-24 This arrived well packaged to prevent any damage during its travels. It took me roughly 45 minutes between unboxing familiarizing assembly and installation about 20 minutes of that was assembly using my own Philips screwdriver. The photographed instructions are easy to follow and they also give you plenty of guidance on placing this in different types of soil. I used a garden auger in my drill to get through some rocky soil making it easily to hammer this in using a block of scrap wood to soften the blows without damaging the tops of the posts. This is made so multiple sections can be connected at a 90° or 180°. It only comes with one connector so I assume if you order another panel it also has one connector I don't know why they just can't give you two. I've already had the white vinyl fencing which does not endure very well with the Phoenix Arizona Sunshine they turned yellow and brittle quicker than I would prefer. This was just recently installed so I don't have any idea of longevity I mean it is made out of a mild steel so I suspect some surface rust may occur and the boards may warp with time. I plan on oiling them down a couple times a year to lengthen their lifespan. Although it would be easy enough to replace them if needed. Overall is a nice option it provides some shade some privacy while still allowing circulation. These panels are tall enough for your large 96 gallon plastic dumpsters to be hidden. I'll report back if something unusual occurs but otherwise I'm pretty pleased with it at this point. Hopefully my written and photo reviews are helpful, Thank you!
