As I was preparing to attach some iron on snap so everything stay in place, I measured it all (92x104 for King) and to my surprise, they put the button on the long side... At least they start 17" from the corner... So one doesn't end up with button in their face. The orange color is also not as bright as the picture. It's more of a rust color. ... show more

I use only 100 percent cotton in my bed and have for years, so I’m very particular. I like cotton percale best by far, so I’m looking for cool, crisp and clean. This duvet cover is it. The color is pure white, not off white. Again, a hit. I sought the button closure instead of zipper, I get very frustrated when the zipper snags. The duvet goes in easily and the decorative buttons (photo shows them on edge of shams) are tightly sewed along the closure. The fabric is a good quality weight, but I have a white duvet so don’t know if another color might peek through. I choose percale, so I’m OK with a little scratchy at first. Softens up with washes pretty quickly. If you like your sheets smooth and soft, go with a sateen. But your duvet will be shifting around a lot inside inside your cover. I’ve always had a nice quality white comforter (aka duvet insert). That way I can take the cover off and throw it in the wash with my sheets and save having to use a bulk wash machine at the laundromat as often. ... show more

I have been looking for a bright duvet for my dark master bedroom. This duvet cover is everything I wanted. I have a queen size bed but ordered king size. I am happy I did , the sides are long and drape over the sides of the bed. I washed and dried it to begin with and was amazed that it did not wrinkle. The duvet cover is soft and comfy. "Purple" means the color "Orchid" just so you know, but you can tell that from the picture--which is why I got it. Exactly what I wanted, simple and comfortable. THere are so many duvets out there made of microfiber...No thank you. Microfiber gets pill-y in time and polyester makes my skin feel like it's suf-fo-ca-ting *gasp*... This is just cotton, cool, comfy, durable and soft. LOOOOOOVE IT! **Note** I've been using duvets for a while now and I don't know if this helps you or if you need it but: Easiest way to get your quilt inside the duvet is to start with the duvet inside out. Lay your quilt atop the duvet, matching corner for corner. Do the little ties, then slide your arms up insde, grasp by the corners and turn it right side out again, shaking the duvet down over the quilt (Don't let go of the corners!). Do the other set of ties. (I use a couple diaper pins as well on the sides to hold the quilt in place.) Done! ... show more
