Just opened the box and pulled everything out. 2 of the 4 chairs have little holes in them and one of the bases has a dent in it. Another chair has a gash on the bottom of the seat. And yet another chair has dirty handprints on it. Oooook? I wonder how someone could pack each of these items in the boxes and not see this? The seat is actually quite comfortable and I like the style. But I see myself sending them back. UPDATE: The seller has contacted me and is willing to replace the damaged chairs. That is enough for me to keep them instead of going through the hassle of sending them all back. Changed rating from 2 stars to 4 based on customer service. They responded same day and hopefully will receive my new chairs soon. UPDATE AGAIN: Received 4 new chairs. 2 of them are damaged. But on the bright side, I now have 8 chairs that I paid $200 for. And the damage is hardly noticeable. Used the 4 best chairs for my kitchen island and put the most damaged ones upstairs in the gameroom for the kids. It works. ... show more

I opted to get these bar stools without having read a review because they were new on Amazon and I pre ordered. Upon arrival they appeared nice and were easy to assemble, but one of them came with a scuff on the upholstery. I didn't bother to return because it was barely noticeable, but I have noticed that each of the 4 bar stools are peeling and will not last long! These were more expensive than a lot of others that look similar which is why I purchased them because I thought the quality would be better, but that was a bug mistake! I wouldn't recommend purchasing these barstools, go with the cheaper look alike the quality may be better ... show more
