I was a bit worried that this item wouldn't give the same quality as the custom decals I ordered through a service, but my fears were unfounded. I was able to print a sheet of my logo (32 copies), and I then tried one. Worked just fine. This 20 sheet package cost the same as 4 tiny decals from the service. Money saved!

I want to mention first: If you're putting this on anything but a WHITE painted/background, the colors WILL NOT SHOW UP APPROPRIATELY. You have to know that toner and ink are meant to be put on white paper, which means they will show up *VERY* transparent on this decal paper. THIS IS NO REFLECTION ON THE PAPER ITSELF! It's of very high quality. The actual waterslide decal part of the sheet is thin and very nice for scale models (which was my use for it). It only had to be in the water for a few seconds before it came loose and was ready to be applied. It holds up very well to using a hobby knife to reposition it (because they never go on exactly where you want) and is pretty tough all around. I used MicroSol and MicroSet on the decal after application, which it took quite well and melted nicely into every crack and crevice of the model. Even though this is a LASER decal sheet, it's still a good idea to spray a nice layer of clear acrylic varnish over the top since it *is* going into water. To use a decal sheet like this on something painted other than white, you'll need to either use white and cut out exactly along the decal, or find a toner cartridge that prints white. You'll then have to print the decal in white, then put the paper back in and then print over that with color. I'm waiting for my white toner cartridge to see how effective this is. If I can get that to work correctly I will 100% be using this decal paper from now on.

I don't have the fine motor skills or experience to freehand high details. But I can sure damn print a logo or something and stick it on with a decal! Unlike the sheets you get from a standard model kit, the decals are nut individually cut. SO if you have an image that has a lot of curves and angles and you want to minimize the amount of excess film, you can get in there with a fine pair of scissors or an exacto. And it doesn't require sitting in the water for as long as one you'd get in a kit. The decal is ready to slide off within a couple of seconds. Even for larger ones I believe the most I had to soak was about 5 seconds. These of course work best with a laser printer and awesome with a color laser. These days you can get a decent color laser printer for UNDER $300. My Lexmark C3224 I got on a deal through Amazon for LESS than $200. Toner though is expensive for that printer, but IS coming down in Price. I paid around $600 for my HP M450 back in 2015, I can get all 5 toner cartridges in a package for $100 or so. And those last me at LEAST 2 years if not longer!

These are easy and fun to use but they have far less applications than suggested. The first issue is dark colors fail to print correctly. The second big issue is it scratches extremely easily. So if you plan to handle this product at all it will not work. The suggestion that it can be used on mugs or the like is a depart from reality.
