I used these decals to customize my Wii stand and Gamecube controller to sell to a customer on eBay. They were obsessed with Zelda Wind Waker, so I made the Wii themed after that game. Very durable and clear. I used 4 coats of Rustoleum semi-gloss clear spray to seal it before submerging. Color is great, works with ink jet printers, dries quickly without smearing.

Item was in cased inside of cardboard type packaging as shown in pics. Inside it offered excellent instructions on how to use item. With that being said, I highly recommend reading instructions fully prior to using item. You will need other items outside of the water slide paper. Purchase a sealant to spray over top of water slide paper to seal it to make it waterproof. Krylon offers a great sealant to use with this product. If you don’t use sealant to make waterproof the design once printed on water slide paper will wash off when placed in water. You need to let it dry overnight to ensure that it is sealed properly. This was a trial and error for me and one I felt to mention. This is great project for intermediate leveled learners. Not something I’d advise beginners to use when first starting out. Overall great product tho and just as Seller Described. It is a Clear waterslide Decal paper so please make note of that. When you print your design the only color will be what is on the clear Decal paper that is it.

I created decals for the headstock of a guitar I was building. Printing was easy, and the final result turned out great. However, getting there was a journey with several botched versions, mostly due to weak instructions. The first version dissolved because I soaked it too long. The second version had streaks and spots where the ink washed away during application. The third version was excellent. I hit the web and pieced together these tips that produced the results I was hoping for. Tip #1: If you're applying to wood, have 1-2 layers of oil or varnish already dried before applying decal. Tip #2: Use several layers of finish spray on printed decal (I used Rust-oleum Clear Matte Finish) and allow to dry completely before application. Tip #3: soak in hot water for about 2 minutes until it begins to separate from the backing. Tip #4: Wet surface where you are going to apply your decal and use the backing to place the decal. Tip #5: After decal has dried, spray area with at least 1-2 additional coats of finish to protect decal and blend it to surface (if applying on wood).

This was my first time using waterslide decal paper, and I was a little nervous. But, I needn't have worried. The pack came with an insert with step-by-step directions (and each included a picture), which made it easy to use and the final application carefree. I didn't experience any trouble with the paper curling or smearing. You will want to trim very close to your "image" because if you look carefully, you can notice a slight edge where the clear paper is. It is transparent, but ever so slightly noticeable. Getting the best adhesion can be a little fiddly, but I found it's better not to overwork it. The paper takes color ink very well and of course color accuracy will all depend on your printer's capabilities. I needed white text for my projects, so I ended taking it to a friend who has an industrial printer, and the paper worked perfectly in his printer as well. This item is perfect for any cosplayers, propmakers, or model builders who want to add a little extra to their pieces:)

This is great stuff! It worked petty well for me. The print was beautiful and it adheres great. My only complaint is that it takes 99 million steps for it to work. I don't have time for that. I'd definitely recommend for people who have an extra day to wait on the clear paint to dry, but it's not something I'll be buying again just because of the time restraint.

I wanted to buy this paper for the sole purpose of making my own water transfer nail decals. Make sure to follow the instructions with regards to dry time and sealing with a clear acrylic coat prior to submersing in water. The paper itself is transparent (I know some papers have a frosty look to it) and it transfers easily (as long as the instructions are followed). I made my first set of nail decals and was pleasantly surprised how easy they were to get onto my nails and that I was able to manipulate them even after putting them on (with a little water on my fingertip) to get it just right. I sealed the decal with a clear top coat and its good to go. I did try another set of decals but did not coat the paper enough and noticed that the color did bleed in the water so be sure to coat the decals enough times. Overall great product will purchase again!
