It took a lot of work to fluff out branches but it looked nice when I got it done. Was a pretty full looking tree in the end. Start from inside and work out spreading out each branch. The base is not very sturdy and seems like it will bend/break easily so wouldn't recommend if you have children that might run into it or pets that might climb into it. Came apart easily to store. It wasn’t too hard to put together, I did it without instructions. The tree is as tall as advertised and works well with 8ft ceilings. It still had room for the star. While fluffing the tree, three twig pieces broke off and had to be wrapped back on. That never happened once in the 20 years I had my last tree, the one this is replacing. It makes me feel like it won’t age well. It also is prone to rocking and swaying if touched. It was a good price and I got a nice tall tree, I just hope it lasts. ... show more

There are naked spots. No instructions to see which piece goes where. The only obvious piece is the top. Didn't take much to figure out, however, some spots on the tree are really full so the the parts that are not are pretty obvious. I lost several of the small branches while fluffing the tree. Also, the bottom section doesn't have enough branches. I'm only keeping it because it would be too much of a hassle to pack it up and send it back. I'll have to tuck it in a corner as one side looks naked compared to the other side of the tree... Not to mention, the bolts that hold the stand together are not in the package. (Doesn't say included but doesn't say not included) And the instruction sheet speaks about it like they're supposed to be there...I just hope it doesn't topple over once I start to decorate it! I would've given less stars but the parts of the tree that are good, are great! ... show more

I bought the 4ft tall tree. Pros: Very easy to set up, pretty branches, fluffy. Cons: It is much smaller than expected! Only 3 feet of “decoratable” tree. Weak branches. There is 9 inches from the bottom of base to where the tree starts. At the top of the tree, there is one single branch that is 6 inches high, definitely not strong enough to hold a tree topper, must bend it in half. All in all, it was only $39…cheaper than getting a real tree! ... show more

4ft Very nice tree, much fuller than I expected. Nicely surprised. One thing that puzzled me. The bottom half is very full and the top half not as much, for some weird reason. I got extra green and added and it looked perfect
