WOW, this thing is GREAT! put it over my 32'' fire pit and grilled 42 burgers, 12 hot dogs, and 6 chicken breast. I had 5 adults and 6 grandkids and grilled everthing to perfection all at once. sprayed cooking spray on the grate for the first use and nothing stuck. well made, sturdy, nice and heavy and the handles do not get hot so its easy to move the grate over a bit to add some coals or wood which is exactly what I did. the added wood gave everything a great smoky flavor. i'm happy and I highly recommend if you have a big group to cook for. Bought the 19” which fits perfectly over a solo stove bonfire. Product is crudely made though and the screen warped considerably after only a few uses.....After many more uses the warping is proving to make grilling difficult for things like peppers or other “rolling foods” . I’m also unable to use a spatula because the surface isn’t flat. I’m not sure why it gets so many glowing reviews . ... show more

I bought this to turn a fire pit into a grilling station. We cleared all the old wood out of the fire pit and filled it with briquette. We used this grill and cooked food that night. So divine. Afterward, we covered the firepit with a custom-fitting cover to protect the briquette from the rain. Done! We now have a giant outdoor grill which will cook enough food for a massive amount of people all at once. Try it! We have an outdoor Chimenea for our outdoor fireplace now, which is much better at controlling fire pit smoke. ... show more

    • Lasted For Three Uses

Lasted about 3 days. It began to warp after the first day from the heat of the fire (I'm not doing anything special -- standard fire-wood in a 30" fire pit, burning to coals, then throwing the grate on top). By the third use it has become so warped, it can barely sit on the pit anymore. Day 2, the grate was left out on the grass and was covered in rust just from the dew. I tried scraping it off with a wire grill brush, hoping it was just a little surface rust, but it didn't help. 3 uses, and now it's completely useless as a cooking grate. Was a very expensive piece of trash. This product is FAR from durable. Definitely does not hold up to normal out-door usage. Will update the review when I find a better alternative.     • Disappointed - rusting, warping & overpriced

I have a fire pit that I wanted to cook on, so I looked on Amazon and found this one. It was a great size to fit over the top of my pit. I used it 3 times to cook and it is already rusting and warping. I am so disappointed. I have not put anything heavy on it that it would warp. Cooked hot dogs, hamburgers, steak and baked potatoes. Nothing like cooking in the great outdoors! I think this grill is way overpriced considering what is happening. ... show more

We have an in-ground fire pit made with pave-stones which is larger than most commercially available. This fit ours perfectly. I was afraid to light it because of embers, now we have a warmer near our patio.
