I really enjoyed this easy and enjoyable summer book. It was refreshing, reading about a real woman that struggles in the department store dressing room, just like the rest of us! Sunny is the girl-friend hero we all need in our lives. I felt like I was sitting beside Brooke and Noor cheering along for Sunny's success as true friends should do! Sunny has always been large for her age, making it hard to find clothes in her age group, especially growing up. Sunny’s career is booming in the fashion business, but her personal life is not so much. When she is confronted with a trip with her girlfriends and going to her brother’s wedding. First things first, she has to find clothes that a) fit and b) look good. Sunny is determined not to go to the wedding alone. Can she find Mr Right in time? A fun and entertaining read! I loved Sunny’s character as she spoke her mind and kept it real. This author tackles the issue of woman’s body image as she is a body-acceptance advocate.     • Easy, Light, Predictable, Lovely summer read.
If you’re looking for a summer poolside read that’s “feel good” and not overthought, Sunny is for you. Is it predictable? Yes. Did I binge read it in 48 hours? Also yes. This book is exactly what it presents itself to be, and that’s exactly what I wanted to read this week!

If you are already a follower of Katie than this book delivers every single ounce of what you’d want and more!! That being said if you are not a follower it’s a big novel sized dose of the amazingness us devotees have been loving and admiring for quite some time. This book did more than meet my beach read requirements it heightened the bar for others. This book nails important body positivity messaging in such a flawless way. Despite it being the sole point of the book it doesn’t beat you over head in a self help way. It just …makes sense! I wish I’d had Sunny as a heroine in my twenties. Sunny Side Up is such a relatable and inspiring read. Sunny’s confidence, business savvy, and creative leadership shine through. I only wish the fabulous swim suits weren’t sold out. Highly recommend!
