We used this a different way. We needed some sort of privacy fencing for behind our deck. Easy to install with some heavy wiring to attach them to. This took us a long time to decide what would work best and this did the trick. Very happy with the results. It is not a sheer as the picture shows. We cannot see the neighbors behind us and they can’t see through. We used 2 10 ft long and 2 16 Ft long to complete this project. We have a 2 very windy storms come through and they have held up. Works great to cover our balcony since we live on the second floor near the pool and Community building. Only thing that I would change are the use of the zip ties that came with it. After about a month they started to snap so I ended up using rope which seems to hold in place a lot better.

It’s easy to put on, comes with the zip ties which was awesome. It actually works even for shade! My plants love “indirect sunlight” and this really does that for them. My kids and I can sit on our balcony and enjoy some ice cream outside in the Fl heat without getting sun burnt because this shade blocks the harsh UV rays. When I’m parking in front of my unit (we are upstairs) I can’t see what we have on our balcony (which I love because if theft is an issue where you are, this prohibits their vision into your balcony / house).
