This 30w 12v solar panel works fantastic!! The panel is not glass but made of some type of fiberglass with solar wire inlaid. I’m not an expert on solar but what I can say is that it’s not fragile. I’ve used it in 3 different applications and this was beast! It charges immediately! 1. I used it on an automotive application first and it was quick to charge my truck. 2. i sue this to keep the batteries charged on a boat at a dock and they are always charged perfectly, no over or under charging. the best thing i can say about it is that it fell in the water at one point and it could have been anywhere from days to weeks to a month before i got up there and it had algae growing on it, batteries were still charged, i wiped it off and it still works perfectly. very waterproof.

I’ve been using this on a vehicle that sits a lot, and it’s done a nice job keeping the battery topped off. The panel feels well made, and I like not having to worry about overcharging thanks to the built-in controller. Setup was pretty straightforward, and once it was hooked up, it’s been mostly hands-off. The only small downside is the included wiring could be a little longer depending on where you mount it. Other than that, it’s a solid solar maintainer for the money.

Good output even on cloudy days. I didn't mount it but it comes with suction cups. I am using it to keep my dump trailer battery topped off, but it sits nicely on the spare tire rack. Compatible with multiple types of batteries. It is good heavy construction. Great use as a battery tender.

Because I'm driving my F150 less lately, even with a new battery, it was going dead, had to Jump start, but since adding this to the dashboard, even behind covers, it's keeping it fully charged, ready to go! Might have gotten by with a 20W, but I might have other uses down the line...

Dry durable solar panel. I use it to trickle charge my mower and boat. It has literally been outside for 8 months in the weather and has not delaminated, warped or fogged over. I have been impressed, other panels I looked at have had issues being in all types of weather. Highly recommend.
