I tried to install them and ensure they are not leaving a gap but they have flimsy to make them stay. If you care about details, you might want to think about it. I’m not sure about the functionality of changing colors in f you can not access the non easily after installing. Otherwise they are ok. Revised review I realized I was installing them wrong. They are actually easy to install and they firmly fit in. I apologize for giving wrong impression. If you are looking to upgrade your old recessed lights, these are a good alternative. What I would have want to have though is more power efficient options. 13.5 watts per bulb of their lighting is alit at this age of efficient lighting. ... show more

I had canned old, recessed lights assembly that originally installed in 2013. Over 10 years period, they started feeling as dim and not bright as it used to be at the original installation time. One light was gone and was making room even bit darker. With that said, I purchased a box 12 pack sunoco lights and oh boy, that changed the whole game in my living and family room. Purchased two separate orders of 12 LED packs. Installed first pack easily and aaaam happy with the installation. The second installation requires working 19 feet in the air and we do not have the means of getting that high. Today the electrician is arriving and I unboxed the LEDs for testing. The first box of 12 included a soft gasket that fits between the lamp and the ceiling. This box no gaskets! It's too late to cancel the installation, so the error is mine. Inspect your package's contents to ensure all pieces are included! ... show more

These retro fit LED lights are just amazing. They are so easy to install. I purchased the E-26 and just just remove the old can light and screw the adapter into the socket. Here is a tip....most can lights will have a spring that attaches to the inner top to hold the can light in place, but when you remove it look for some dog ear tabs on the inner side of the existing can and bend them down so you can pinch the new springs together and then slide them right up. This will make sure they are snug against your ceiling. ... show more
