My "go to" model is the Conductor but I thought I'd try these for the cheap "used" pricing. The Conductors are a larger fit with larger lenses, blocking out nearly all the light from the sides of the frames. These Sentry's are a Medium fit so the lenses are slightly smaller and the temples are narrower/skinnier as well. They fit well and surprisingly...they too, block out nearly 100% of the sunlight coming from the sides of the frames. It must be the shape of the frame that positions itself on my cheekbones that aide in blocking "side light". The Conductors are simply a bigger lens that accounts for most of the "side light" blockage. I'll use these Sentry's as my driving pair (leave them in the car) since I have fairly dark tinted windows all around and I'm not a huge fan of the look they provide being smaller framed than I'm used to. It's the polarized and bronze colored lenses that I love so they're perfect wearing behind the wheel. ... show more

I have a big, long oval face and these Sentry's fit well and look good. They grab enough to stay on my head or hat, but don't squeeze so much that I can't wear them comfortably all day. I find them darker and more polarized than the more expensive sunglasses I have used in the last few years. For consistently bright conditions, they work well . They are a bit tougher when you need to pick things out of shadows, though. I don't know that they would be my first choice for mountain biking, for instance, because you tend to be in and out the trees, and my eyes have a hard time adjusting quickly in shaded sections of trails. While they don't have metal hinges, build quality is decent. I've been wearing these for a couple of months if I remember my purchase day right, and while the lenses do seem to pick up finger prints easily, they don't seem to scratch more than other, more expensive sunglasses. I like the reflective lenses . . . nobody's going to be able to see what my eye balls are looking at when I have them on. They don't come with a hard case, but I wouldn't necessarily expect one at this price point. Overall, they offer solid performance and very good value for every day wear--I will buy more. ... show more

These sunglasses are comfortable and a good value. They say that they're for women but they appear totally unisex to me. I'm a guy and I wear them with no problems.
