Cannot note the praises of these curtins enough. Super thick and heavy with true near 100% blackout (seems 100% to us) even helping to really reduce the noise from outside. Great for black out for keeping light out for streaming. got it for 2 windows, was so good got another for my side window. keeps the light out, the sound is pretty much the same, maybe there is a difference that i baerly notice, ill take it though, if it helps a little. nice quality curtains, navy blue looks great. had to get one of those bars and it was easy to install, it was like 17$. i never installed anything like that before but it was just two tiny holes on each side and screwing it in to the molded screw thing. highly recommend its low profile and looks great. but thats more reviewing that product, for this product, just wanted to say the one with the open rings at the top. you can probably just use push pins to hold it up, if its to heavy just use one of those jumbo clip holders that come in a pack. im gonna use push pins for my side window. it might be to heavy but i bet it will work, just to let you know you dont have to install a bar, if you dont want to. but it does look much nicer and professional i love it. ... show more

Great curtains, they really cut down on the sun. I'm happy with the material. Some fabric the creases don't want to come out. These I ran thru the dryer on low heat with a couple damp hand towels and all wrinkles and creases came out.

These work really well! I replaced my old "light blocking" curtains with these, and what a difference! Being a bit sensitive to light, I wake up when the sun rises, even though my bedroom faces NW. I decided to try these, and I am so happy with them! They really do block 100% of light! They also look good hanging because the material has a very slight sheen to it. It's super easy to install and it fits my large window perfectly. I do wish I had purchased the taller ones and reinstall my curtain rods higher to the ceiling to block the light coming in from above the window. But I'm so happy with these! ... show more

If you really need to black out the sun entirely, I am not sure these will get the job done, but they really do work for our needs. We need to block the sun in the room where we have our TV. Where some of us sit, we end up looking at the window with the setting sun, and our regular curtains were not keeping the sun out of our eyes. Night and day difference between the competitor that I just sent back to Amazon. This is a very good quality curtain that really does blackout. My bedroom wall faces the sun. You can see that the other curtain just completely bled through the light. This curtain blocked everything perfectly. The light in the room itself is coming from the other windows, but none of the light is coming through the curtain at all. Can’t wait for the other curtains to arrive so I can install them on the other windows. ... show more
