No sheerness at all, when is says black out they mean black out, live them, not much sun come through them at all makes the bedroom kinda dark which is a good thing don’t have to worry about light coming through while your trying to sleep or whatever, they don’t hold much heat in at all, and I like that especially since summer is coming, the weight isn’t very heavy at all they’re light as can be, they work really well as to what the description say, quality is great , the look of it hanging up is also good and matches very well with everything ... show more

I purchased three panels of this curtain. It really does a good job of blocking out light especially sunlight. One panel was shorter than the other two panels. Instead of using panel with a gathered top I ran my curtain rod into the very top opening so that all panels look even on the bottom. The price is reasonable for each panel. Make sure you measure each panel because whoever is sewing these they tend to make some panels shorter. I did finally find these to block out light. I tried a few different styles that say they block light but are too sheer. I would recommend these. I have sunlight from 12pm until sundown shining on my living room window especially hot in summer and I need black out curtains. Easy to put on curtain rod just slide panel on. I just hung up from package and wrinkles are gone next day. Soft fabric. The fabric is thicker than other black out curtains I'm hoping not only to keep out heat from sun but keep my room warm in winter months. They're pretty dark, sunlight does creep through a bit with the real but it's not too bad. The insert space at the top is only meant for really small curtain rods, but the space underneath can fit a larger rod. However you do lose about 4-5 inches of length. Looks awkward in this space.
