Sunbum mineral sunscreen was perfect for our week trip to beach. It goes on thick and does take little longer to rub in . However a little goes a long way. Do not need to use as much . My kids, my husband who burns easily, and myself didnt get sunburned at all while using this. You do need to reapply like any other sunscreen every few hours. I am out in the sun a lot and have melasma that I treat with retinol so a good sunscreen is a must. I like this one because of the coverage. The feel is silky but a little chalky as well, and it does give a white cast when first applied but absorbs pretty well. It leaves a dry touch and I find it great for when I'm gardening because it is sweat resistant. If I were going out to a social event the white cast would be an issue unless you wear foundation which I do not, but it would probably be a good primer. I wish it had a nice fragrance but it is completely neutral so great for those who can't tolerate scents. Sun Bum also makes a little gel stick for the face that I love and smells great, (like Juicy Fruit gum!), that works well also. No white residue with this mineral sunscreen. I tried a lot of brands! I like mineral because it doesn't have the chemicals but I also don't want white streaks. This one is great.

Great product. I wanted a Zink based sunscreen for my face, but I was hoping it would still have the Sun Bum traditional “tropical” scent. Sadly nope. I’m mixing it with the traditional Sun Bum 30 so I can get my tropical feel while keeping my face safe from sun damage. Hopefully I don’t turn green :) ... show more
