Brings comfort to the next level!
I added this to my Summit Viper aluminum stand. It is designed to be a universal fit for many brands of tree stands. It is a little heavier than I think it needs to be, but the ability to stretch your legs out a little further during your sit make the extra weight worth the effort. You can put the footrest in three positions: stored, partially extended, fully extended. I like it fully extended, or straight out. It is best to select the position BEFORE you climb the tree, unless you are an acrobat!

Summit knocks it out of the park
This thing is bult like a tank. But, what else would you expect from Summit. This footrest is made for the Summit stands, but it will work well for other stands also. It seems to be very durable, and it installed flawlessly. I keep the pin out of mine so that it can fold in before I get in the stand and fold out once I am settled. It is very easy to use, and I would highly recommend this footrest for any hunter.

Heavy but Supreme Comfort
Definitely adds weight, but it really made the difference in sitting for long stretches. It lets you extend your legs out and support your weight better. Will not use any climber or ladder stand without one of these or something similar anymore.

Super Portable and Comfortable but Heavy
So have had this on a viper SD for think this is season 3-4 w/ it. Works great for longer sits and folds away to Nest backpack in out w/ no issues. Just haven’t bought another one yet for other Summit I have because was “HOPING” Summit would make at least make the T foot rest Aluminum or heck polymer to shed what Is Overweight for what it’s doing. This thing is like 2 pounds or more. That’s the only gripe
