I added this to my Summit Viper aluminum stand. It is designed to be a universal fit for many brands of tree stands. It is a little heavier than I think it needs to be, but the ability to stretch your legs out a little further during your sit make the extra weight worth the effort. This thing is bult like a tank. But, what else would you expect from Summit. This footrest is made for the Summit stands, but it will work well for other stands also. It seems to be very durable, and it installed flawlessly. I keep the pin out of mine so that it can fold in before I get in the stand and fold out once I am settled. Definitely adds weight, but it really made the difference in sitting for long stretches. It lets you extend your legs out and support your weight better. Will not use any climber or ladder stand without one of these or something similar anymore.
