Just have to cut the hole correctly. In my case, plumber already cut hole and I just had to find a cover that fit to the hole he cut. With some minor work, fit really well. Tight enough I didn't feel I needed to any thing else to keep in place.

Installed this panel for easy access to my plumbing. Works great! Easy install! Tools needed: sheet rock saw, flat head screwdriver, pencil, and a bubble level. You could pre-draw the sqaure hole at 11.625 inch by 11.625 inch (11 5/8" x 11 5/8"). But the way I did it was I popped the panel open. Placed the trim piece in the location I needed. Used a level to make sure it was level. And traced the inside square with a pencil (picture of my finger showing what to trace). Used the sheetrock saw to cut the square out. Test fit the trim piece. It was still a little tight so used the saw to trim it until It was just slightly bigger. For a tight fit. Doing it that way I didn't have to use adhesive. Only reason for 4 stars. I wish there was more size variety.

I bought this access panel before tile job and are so glad we did, we ended up meeting to access the pipes behind the wall and without this panel we would’ve had to remove tile. The only bad thing about the panel is that it could easily get damaged or destroyed if you have to get in it due to using it a flat screwdriver to open

We had new shower/bath fixtures installed and the plumber had to cut a hole in the wall to access the pipes from behind the shower. This panel hid the hole beautifully and I ordered with next day delivery and was very pleased when the item showed up. I had 20 minutes to spare after installing before photographer showed up to take pictures of the house. Great product, timely delivery. I would order again when needed.

Very easy to install, however the first time I opened it I ripped it out of the wall glued it in with silicone. The other thing I have done is to put a knob on it because it's difficult to open and I purchased it to access the water heater. It will be opened multiple times a day because everyone likes a different temp for their shower. The next thing I am going to do is get hinges because the door tends to fall off and not everyone is capable of putting it back on. If you are just looking for a access door that you won't open often I do recommend this one it's got a decent size and does what you need.
