I like the color and the material that this hat is made from. It is comfortable to wear. I've worn it soaked in water and also when it is dry and I prefer the latter. When it is wet, it is cool initially. But, as my run progresses, I find that it traps some of the heat in. I imagine this is because it interferes with the evaporation of sweat from my head. I found it helped to take it off and hold it as I ran for a minute or two before putting it back on. There is something odd about the way that the fabric is sewn above the bill of the cap (see photo). It's as if there is a bit of extra fabric there. I have an average size head. The hat is comfortable doesn't come down the sides very far. I feel like I'm wearing a beanie. If it came down further if would be my favorite hat. I love the silky cool material, the soft texture, and the general appearance of the hat. But not coming down to my ears feels awkward and out of place. ... show more

I have a smaller head and thick hair and I found this baseball cap comfortable. The adjustable band allowed me to easily adjust the band and to wear my hair in either a ponytail or low bun. I use cooling coats that evaporate for my dog during the hot summers, so now I wet and wring both the dog's coat and my cap which allows us to be cooler during our walks. This is more of a mesh/outdoor activity hat than a fashion/lifestyle hat. It's very similar to other hats I use for jogging or other activities that break a sweat. Very nice thin breathable fabric (polyester type), good color, and good fit. Looks exactly like the pics. The only downside is the rather hard plastic trucker hat style adjustment on the back. Visited Sea World with the grandkids and it was a hot day. I took a hand-held fan that sprayed water. I kept spraying my hat and it kept my head stayed cool. At the end of the day I rinsed it thoroughly and the hat dried very quickly. I've used this hat while golfing and it works great.

I have a big head and I always struggle to get a baseball cap that fits. I spent so much time trying to get the authentic hat of my local baseball team at the top of the size range, and then, as soon as I sweated into it a bit, it shrank and I was back to square one. Here in Colorado we are protecting ourselves from the sun all the time. So everyone wears a hat most of the time. I have wearing caps that were on the verge of too small so it is a joy to get a really nice cap that fits. I run three times a week and in some of the wild open spaces the sun can be merciless and blast the top of your head. This cap from Sukeen is nicely made. The main fabric is a slightly silky or satiny very fine grain textile. I suppose that is the microfiber bit. When you look inside the crown it looks like a piece of clothing that has been carefully constructed just like a shirt or a pair of pants. The front part of the inside is a double layer of microfiber but the rear part has a section of lighter mesh type pieces. There are reinforcing strips between each triangle that form the dome. There is an extra layer piece forming the brow band that circles the whole hat. At the back is a fairly standard plastic sizing belt with poppers. I am at the two end poppers and it is a nice comfortable loose fit. One feature which is slightly surprising is that there is a ring of six vent holes, a common feature on a baseball cap. These ones are the stitched ones a bit like the way they sew a machine button hole. But they are a bit too small in diameter, so there is no hole in the middle, thus no venting. They still perform as a design element but in a hat that purports to sport a cooling technology working vents would seems to be important. It has a stiff peak but the body is soft and flexible. I am very pleased with my new hat. Afterthought: This morning I went on my first mountain run with my new hat. It's really great. I was on a fabulous wild trail at 7000 feet in Colorado. When my dog stopped for a drink in a seasonal creek near the start I dipped my hat in and soaked it, then gave it a squeeze and put it back on my head. It was nice and cool but I was expecting for it to dry out in a few minutes. But it stayed moist. Any other material would have dried. It's almost like magic. So 1 hr and 20 minutes later I was back down at the little creek and I thought to re-wet it, but it was not necessary because it was still moist and cool. Extraordinary! I dunked it again just for fun. The interesting thing is that your boiling brain tries to warm up the body of the hat but if you need a refreshing cool down, the peak is very cool. This hat is my go-to for the gym and when I go walking and hiking. The hat is lightweight and I love how I can adjust the size. I wear locs so I need more space for my hairstyle. Plus, I looked up the word Sukeen. It had a very cool acronym but I love this meaning: Sukeen name meaning is Artist, Careful, Influencer. This cute hat is wonderful and I am so glad I got it. Fabric is quite relaxed, so hat doesn't maintain shape well. Collapses around band and doesn't look very good.
