I have a dog that likes to lay on the leather sofas and chairs. She also uses her claws to next which is not so great for leather. I went through the covering them with quilts but those would slide off. These cushions work perfectly. They are a bit of a tight squeeze over the 6” deep, 25.6” x 28” cushions but they do fit with no bulging material or leather showing.
