I had a large tear in my leather chair that needed to be patched. Recovering was too expensive. Once I patched the recliner, I bought this chair cover. It works great. We were able to do a little creative tucking to leave the wooded chair arms out, and we pulled the fabric in the back to attach under the chair to keep a tight fit. It is very soft and comfortable, and I don't feel the patch on the back of the chair at all. There are black balls of lint from the material. I had a scare when I saw the dog hair with black specks in it, until I realized where the black bits came from! Anyone that has a GS knows about the massive dog hair issue. I vacuum daily anyway so I don't consider the lint balls much of an issue. It was inexpensive and worth it to buy this cover. I don't know if it would hold up if dogs jumped on it. My dog does not jump or scratch on this chair. ... show more

Packing on shipment was very good. Color was as advertised. I am 71 years old and the installation (after getting it out of the packing) was quite easy, somewhat heavy but easy. Daily use has been very satisfying. It would not be a good fit for a tall person.

My recliner and couch had seen better days. I waited till I started decorating for Christmas and put the slipcovers on. Feels like new furniture. Going to order a lighter color for spring and summer. I love them. They were easy for this 76 yo lady to put on.

after trying at least 4 different other chair covers on amazon these actually worked . They slid on like butter. Hugged the chairs and conformed completely to these chairs. I highly recommend these covers if you have a smaller hard to fit chair

Nice and soft, great fit. Kinda thin material though, so if you’re trying to use to protect furniture from long or sharp pet claws, it may not be the best choice. Our dog has a few holes/tears in ours from her claws.
