A little more and it leaves a shine a little less it’s almost matte. Got this to try something less damaging to my scalp than gottobe glue gell and it really fit the bill! It's strong and doesn't leave any residue when you rinse it off. I also noticed my scalp isn't so dry anymore! It does have a pretty strong scent tho.

I have been growing my hair out for a year or so now so that I could try a slicked-back style. I have very thick wavy/curly hair that is about 7-8 inches long on top and about 1 inch on the sides and back. This is the first and only pomade I have ever used and I have no need to try any other because this stuff is perfect. It is easy to apply and styles perfectly. My hair is a bit thick so once I first start combing it it pulls here and there, but once in place with the tangles out the look makes it all worth it. My only complaint is that there is no 'high shine' version of this pomade, as this medium seems on the duller side after drying, but it still looks great and does exactly what I want it to do. ... show more

I’ve been using Suavicito for years. My barber use to carry this stuff. I figure if the pros use it, it must be good. Most pomades I use don’t hold well. Sauvicito holds all day and then some.
