  • Exactly what I needed it for
Color: Black
Got this pen to draw and create designs. It works perfectly for that. It is sensitive on the top and turns off quite easily but it gets the job done.

  • It works great and charges quickly
Color: Pink
Honestly, I was skeptical because I've had my old iPad for so long, I didn't even completely believe it was compatible with a pen like this. But they're not lying! It really works! I love using it to write notes and even write in URL's when typing on my iPad becomes tedious. Nothing replaces a good old keyboard, but mine stopped working and it was too expensive to replace. This was a great compromise. I bought a rugged case with a swiveling handle on the back and this pen fits right into a hole on the case meant for an installation tool. It charges to 100 so quickly I don't think I'll ever just be out of power with this gadget. I love it and am so glad I took a chance. I'm excited that I get to participate in technology I thought was reserved for higher paying customers. ... show more

  • INSTANT LOVE! (very much like my Apple Pencil; but here's how it is different)
Color: Black
Shortest version: Yes. It is metal. It is magnetic. It pairs INSTANTLY. It works. I have a love/hate relationship with my Apple Pencils. Expensive, right? Well my "new one" (from Apple) lasted just long enough for the warranty to expire and the battery died. I am so angry! I had to go back to my OLD Apple Pencil and my OLD (smaller) iPad. But I wanted a replacement ("new" Apple Pencil) because the old Apple Pencils (the round ones that roll off of the desk) won't work with newish and new iPads. But $129? Ouch! So I bought a knock-off brand—and that worked for about a week. THEN I saw that I could try this and review it, so that is how we got here and why I am qualified to advise you on whether this is worth buying. YES. YES IT IS. It officially charges via USB-C just above the display. That comes with a tiny rubber plug, and I guess that makes it waterproof? Anyway, it came 96% charged, so I just used it. Straight out of the box. NO FORGIVENESS. It should work without instructions (those are famous last words, right?). Anyway, it paired up even before I could pair it. Her's what I mean. I turned on my (newish) iPad Pro and was looking for settings-->Bluetooth-->whatever this thing is called, and I had it in my hand and absently used it to scroll up and down the (iPad) screen instead of using my finger. (I was only madly distracted at the moment). It took me a moment to realize it was way ahead of me. The thing worked, but I couldn't find it under "Bluetooth-->whatever this thing is called," so I downloaded a free drawing app from the App Store (normally I just use my iPad as a second screen and draw on it, but using Photoshop on my MacBook—hence needing to download an actual drawing app). So yeah, it worked, but going back to settings I finally saw something that said "!Penbox." and that was "not connected." Hmm . . . still no idea. BUT IT WORKS. Popped it on the side of the iPad (magnet) and it stuck. So that works. Then I pulled out the rubber USB plug (you should probably keep that, but I stored mine away) and charged it. This thing feels like an Apple Pencil. It is also 1/4 the price. If it lasts 6 months that will be better than my (new) Apple Pencil experience. My old Apple Pencil is . . . three years old now(?) and still works, so I have high hopes for this. It is just a matter of the battery, and I don't mind charing things via USB versus magnet. I am not that much of a diva. As to the rest: it draws just fine. It "feels" (weight, thickness, and heft) like an Apple Pencil. It has TWO displays (on one screen): a double digit % of charge and a tiny battery image with three lines to indicate how full the battery is. Overkill but appreciated. You tap the button on the top to turn it on. Only a minor annoyance. Worth saving a hundred bucks though! Okay thanks for reading this. I hope it helps. I certify every word of this is true, and it is not worth my reputation to write a fake review for a cheap freebie. ... show more

  • Works great!
Color: Pink
I have wanted to see how well these worked, but I thought the Apple pen was far too pricey. I decided to try this one. It has come in very handy. We live in a very rural area, and needed to get some signed papers sent. We used this pen. It connected automatically with no problems. My daughter signed…we emailed. It was incredibly convenient! I’m so glad I have this. The battery lasts an incredibly long time so I haven’t charged it yet. I really do recommend this. It’s a great price point, easy to use, and connects with no extra effort. You just turn it on! ... show more

  • The best 3rd party pencil by far!
Color: White
I love this thing! I've had it now for a few months and I have to say that this is the best 3rd party iPad stylus that I've ever used. 1. You don't have to connect the stylus via bluetooth in order to use it on the iPad. This makes turning on and off the stylus so much quicker and easier to use off the rip. You also don't have to worry about reconnecting the stylus after leaving it behind. 2. the digital screen on the side makes things so much easier to see. You can see what the battery percentage is on the stylus itself. 3. longevity wise, this stylus has no issues with latency or doing any weird ghost writing. I've had this issue with other 3rd party styluses after a longer period of use but not with this one. The only "bad" thing I can say about this stylus is that it does not charge on the side of the iPad. Yes, it does magnetize to the side of the tablet but it does not charge. You have to actually physically plug it into a usb-c cable to charge it. However, the battery life is so good on the stylus, you don't have to charge it often. I've had my stylus unplugged now for at least a month and it's still holding charge. All in all, I like it! if you need a good stylus for writing or drawing on your iPad, I would highly recommend this one. ... show more
