I made the skirts using this fabric, gathered and mounted on grosgrain ribbon (which they will attach to the pallets using double-stick tape). The fabric came exactly the length I ordered. It is very soft and drapeable, and opaque enough to obscure the pallet it is covering. It was very easy to sew. It doesn't crawl around during stitching, and doesn't seem to snag easily. I was very skeptical about buying this, given the price, but it was the exact color I needed for my daughter’s Halloween costume & figured it was worth a shot. It’s exactly as described, a 2-way stretch polyester knit. The color is very accurate to what I received, & for the value, I think it’s a great deal! This is exactly what I think of when I think of costume fabrics. It’s not a “nice” fabric, but being a polyester knit at this price, that’s expected! It’s really easy to sew with & better quality than the fabric used in most kid. costumes, in my opinion. My daughter has worn the top I made several times since Halloween & I’ve been surprised by how well it’s held up.
