I've been wearing this particular type of wig for quite a few years, after having purchased several. When it came to replacing the old, I fell into a dilemma... All wigs of this type are definitely not the same. My initial ones were soft, light, ready to wear and instantly becoming. I had them for a couple of years before I started looking for additional. The replacements have been bushy, virtual cheese puff looking and super thick. They look like mops unless I cut half the hair out of them to style them and even then, they've never matched the beauty of the original ones, even through the same store. Various vendors offer several, each style looking exactly as the others, often using the same model pictures..."eenie, meenie, minie, moe". It's been hit or miss, until now. During the last Prime Day Event I went waaaaaay back in my history for the first one I ever bought. (I found the same one a lot less expensive later on Ali Express and purchased several more). Since then, they've all been disappointing, even thru Amazon until now. I finally found the vendor of my INITIAL purchase. I am so glad and will be using them exclusively from now on. The wig is gorgeous right out of the box. It is unpack, shake and wear. The hair is soft and has relatively thin coils (rather than the cheetos puff wiry coils). It’s 5 out of 5 for me. What people have to realize is everybody don’t have the same head shape the same facial profile so what might look good on one person may not look good on you. This one is awesome. It fits my face beautifully and the back of it flows very nice. It’s perfect and it’s gorgeous… bout to order another one. There’s no combs but it fits pretty tight & don’t forget, a hair pin or two and you’re good. I put a little lace front glue on all my socking caps & the wig will not move if you do it right. When I opened the package, the wig did not look like the wig I ordered from the picture. when I tried the wig on I was so disappointed. The hair on the picture has a shape to it that looks normal, it looks right. The wig has a "poofy" look to it and the poof is very big. I placed a cap on the wig in hopes the poof would go down but it did not. There was hair in the from that was too long to be bangs, I tried putting the hair on the either side of my face, but it kept going to the front. The wig in the picture looks thinner than the wig I received. I tried to put the top of the wig up in a ponytail and that made it look worse. I am truly disappointed with everything about this wig. I bought this wig because I needed a quick purchase with overnight delivery for a work meeting. I had intended to do my hair but the weekend got away from me. The price was right and it served me well. It is a little tight (small) but that meant it stayed in place. It wasn't overly heavy and I didn't snatch it off the minute I got home either. However, I don't think this is suitable for long term because after a few days it started to frazzled fuzz a bit, and fall out at the ends. Overall, for the price, wear, and fit I'll give it a 8/10. What I didn’t like about the wig is that it did come with an odor. But I let it soak in my Brandywine wig shampoo followed by the Brandywine wig conditioner and that took care of the odor. And an added benefit to that was that the wig just looked better. The locs looked more defined and the color looked richer. I went to an event on Saturday with several people saying they loved my hair and again on Sunday when I went to church. Same thing. I wish I still had my makeup on when I took the picture but I know the focus is on the wig not on how cute I was looking LoL. Go ahead and try it. With Amazon you can always return it ... show more
