I've been wearing this particular type of wig for quite a few years, after having purchased several. When it came to replacing the old, I fell into a dilemma... All wigs of this type are definitely not the same. My initial ones were soft, light, ready to wear and instantly becoming. I had them for a couple of years before I started looking for additional. The replacements have been bushy, virtual cheese puff looking and super thick. They look like mops unless I cut half the hair out of them to style them and even then, they've never matched the beauty of the original ones, even through the same store. Various vendors offer several, each style looking exactly as the others, often using the same model pictures..."eenie, meenie, minie, moe". It's been hit or miss, until now. During the last Prime Day Event I went waaaaaay back in my history for the first one I ever bought. (I found the same one a lot less expensive later on Ali Express and purchased several more). Since then, they've all been disappointing, even thru Amazon until now. I finally found the vendor of my INITIAL purchase. I am so glad and will be using them exclusively from now on. The wig is gorgeous right out of the box. It is unpack, shake and wear. The hair is soft and has relatively thin coils (rather than the cheetos puff wiry coils). I absolutely love this wig! It really does look like real hair. I wanted to give this wig 5 starts but the reason I didn't is because it's so full! To some, this is not a bad thing. I have never worn a wig and my natural hair is not as thick and full so the fullness is going to take some getting used to. I have tried to flatten this wig by placing tool boxes on top of it, weights, jars of tomato sauce but it just seems to get fuller!! Lol! I think just wearing it day to day will do the trick so here's hoping. If it were a little less voluminous, I would definitely give it 5 stars. I saw another review that said the wig smelled. Mine did not have a smell to it at all and it's just so soft. I recommend this wig to anyone that loves a full head of hair. If I get it to flatten, I'll update my review. Lol! Out of the box, it looked like a ungroomed dog. I spent over an hour trying to thin it out, make it look at least somewhat realistic. I just gave up, this unit is very synthetic, it feels like crunchy doll hair, its too bulky so you look like you put a mop on your head. Also its hot, there are no combs or clips so it will come off if you move around, or its a windy day. I wish I had paid more attention to the bad reviews, these folks are telling the truth. I didnt expect much for $36, but I was hoping for something wearable, this garbage went into the trash. Please do not buy this, you cannot fix it, and you will look like a fool with this on your head, at least until the wind blows it off. ... show more

This wig was wayyy to tight for me, and I have purchased a hand full of wigs on Amazon and never had that issue. Maybe this particular wig runs small. Also the wig was wayyyy to full to where if I had kept it, I would of had to cut out A LOT of hair. I ended up returning the wig. The wig was packaged neatly and securely, and had no issues returning and getting a refund. Its a beautiful wig all in all, and I wish it would of worked for me! ... show more

Way too small for an adult head - this doesn't fit to the hairline or across the head properly. It's so tight it can't fit properly on an adult. If you've an average to large head, or thick hair to cover, don't bother. Really disappointed as the dreads are a nice style and colour; and if this were stretchy it would perhaps compensate for the tiny size. The only way this could work is to leave some hair out at the front/back - which then means you MUST have hair that matches to a near identical standard. What a shame size is way too small. ... show more

This wig was packaged well and did not have a smell, that some folks complained about. My only issue is the wig was too full for me. It doesn't look like it in the photos, but did in person; at least to me. The first photo is straight out the bag, the 2nd and 3rd were after I attempted to style and the 4th is when I attempted to thin it out. I basically messed this wig up. Since the price was super reasonable, I'm going to purchase another and have a professional thin it out. I wish it came with combs.
