The media could not be loaded. Works great. I got the hanger a while ago, but didn’t use it because I didn’t want my kids messing with the banjo. It got tiring to haul the banjo out of its case every time I wanted to play. The banjo looks nice on the wall and the kids promised not to mess with it. I found that the way to fit the neck of the banjo through the forks of the hanger is by turning the neck a little sideways to get it in. The design is such that there is no way the banjo will just fall off the hanger. For reference, the pot of a Goodtime banjo hangs about 2 1/4” off the wall, so the only thing in contact with the banjo is the soft surface of the hanger. Good product! ... show more

I had an extra guitar stand but it needed the banjo supports, rather than guitar supports. I ordered this for the bracket, swapped it out on the other stand, and works perfectly for the banjo. The tuners don't hit the bracket like they did with the guitar bracket.

I bought two of these for my banjos and was initially not happy. I could not present my banjo straight on, but had to turn it, bumping the tuners against the wall and catching on the first string. So, I pulled the rubber tubing off and opened the gap up from 2.65 to 2.80. I put the rubber back on and now it is PERFECT. I clamped it in a vise and used a short piece of pipe. Without this "user adjustment" I would probably only have given this 3 stars. Now I am delighted. I measure on the inside at the ends of the metal "Y". Take care.
