  • Lightweight, Sturdy, and Adjustable Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles
I recently got the Glacial Wave Strider X carbon fiber trekking poles, and they’ve quickly become my go-to gear for hikes and outdoor adventures. They feel incredibly light yet strong, making long treks much less tiring on my arms and knees. The telescopic design is super convenient, letting me adjust the poles from 39–53 inches in seconds with the quick lock system. I love that the measurement marks make it easy to set both poles to the same height. The grips are comfortable, sweat-resistant, and paired with adjustable wrist straps that reduce hand fatigue, which is great on longer trails. The poles come with removable rubber tips, sharp spikes, and snow baskets, making them reliable on dirt paths, rocky terrain, icy patches, or snowy trails. They feel very sturdy under my weight and don’t wobble, giving me confidence on uneven ground. The only minor point is to be careful not to bend or force the carbon fiber, as it can crack if twisted too hard. Overall, these poles are lightweight, functional, and versatile—perfect for hiking, backpacking, camping, and travel. Highly recommended for both beginners and experienced hikers! ... show more

  • Nice, Light Carbon Fiber Poles
Pros - Light but strong carbon fiber (405g/14.3 oz) - Adjustable length (25.5 - 54 in) - Removable snow feet - Spike or rubber foot - adjustable hand loops Cons - Rubber feet are likely to fall off if wedged between rocks, but you will know quickly Very nice hiking/trekking poles. These were long enough for me (6 ft) and short enough for the shortest person. Two options for the end: spike or rubber foot. Also includes plastic snow feet that screw onto the bottom of each pole. Hand straps are adjustable and plenty long. Be careful to not pull the strap out of the handle - it will be hard to thread back through the handle! Keep in mind that carbon fiber is strong but brittle. Do not bend these poles or pry with them or they will shatter like any carbon fiber pole. ... show more

  • Very Lightweight, Very Sturdy, Comfortable Grip
These trekking poles are very lightweight, yet very sturdy, with a comfortable grip (see pic below). As a newbie, they were very easy to assemble, and the measurement scale on the poles makes them especially easy to match the height of both poles. I watched some youtube videos to see how to position them at the proper height and how to use them with proper form. I tried them out at the park, remembering all that I had learned. It felt awkward at first, but it didn't take long to feel more at ease while using proper form. I can see how these poles help with keeping some stress off of the knees. I also felt like they were working the stomach muscles a little, and I was glad for that. The poles come with rubber tips at the bottom, yet you can remove them by screwing them off to reveal a pointed tip to help with icy terrain. There are also two round snow cap accessories to place on the end if there is a lot of snow on the ground and you don't want the pole to sink all the way down (see pic below). Finally, there is a clip that you can use to keep the poles together when not in use. If I could improve on one thing, I would like a bag that would be able to hold the poles and the accessories; as of now, I have to place the accessories in a zip-lock bag and make sure it stays with the poles. Overall, though, I love these trekking poles! ... show more

The Adjustable Carbon Fiber Trekking Poles, particularly the Glacial Wave Strider X model, offer a great blend of durability and lightweight performance, making them ideal for various outdoor activities. Made from carbon fiber, these poles are incredibly light, which helps reduce fatigue during long hikes or climbs. The quick lock feature is very user-friendly, allowing for easy adjustments to suit different heights and terrains. This adjustability makes them versatile for backpacking, camping, and even more demanding adventures like climbing. The poles are designed to provide stability and support, which is crucial when navigating tricky trails or uneven ground. They’re also compact and easy to pack, a big plus for traveling. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just starting out, these trekking poles can enhance your outdoor experience by offering reliable support and reducing strain on your joints. • High quality trekking poles: easy to use, sturdy and comfortable
These check all the boxes for me: lightweight, easy to use, strong and sturdy, with a comfortable grip. They are very well made, and I feel secure using them. I also really love the telescoping feature on these; I have other trekking poles with a corded tent pole type design, and I much prefer this method of expanding/contracting them. They don't break down with as small a footprint, but I car camp mostly so it's not that important to me that they take up as little space as possible. I really like these, they are definitely becoming my go-to poles for hiking. ... show more

  • Very good trekking poles at a very affordable price
First and most importantly: These poles are incredibly lightweight and solid, which for me are the two most important things. The quick locks make it very easy to adjust the height and also (sort of forgotten in the product description) to retract them to only 39 inches which makes them a great companion on all your trips. As you can see in the picture, the locks have a screw that ensures the poles really stay in the length you decided. The grips are very pleasant to the touch (see picture) and made of a material that avoids slipping. They have a scale (see picture) on the middle part if you know the length you want. Of course this scale is only valid if the lower part is fully expanded. The one thing I am missing a bit is a pouch or little bag to put them in, but I am sure I will find one that fits. Otherwise, these are the best and cheapest titanium poles I have seen, they usually are at least ⅓ more expensive. I fully recommend them. ... show more
