This is an excellent keyboard for its price. It arrived within 2 days. When we unpacked it, at first we did not see the power adapter since it was taped under a styrofoam block. So we called Amazon support and they offered to send us a compatible power adapter (free). However, we eventually found the (hidden!) power adapter under the multitude of packaging. It is perfect for my 9 year old who has just started taking music lessons. The quality is good, and there was no assembly involved. We already had a stand, so it fit comfortably on it. I can tell the sound quality is better than the old Casio keyboard we had.

I bought this to try a weighted keyboard, keys are not my primary instrument, but I enjoy playing them and use for some recording. For the money, I think this keyboard is a very good value. The acoustic piano sounds are decent, the other sounds are pretty much general MIDI, but with the USB out, you can use excellent sounds from keyboard simulator apps. The keybed feels solid and is close enough to an acoustic piano for my purposes. The accompaniments and rhythms are simple, but could be valuable as a practice incentive. I am taking off a point because the instructions are very sparce, and the Strich site only provides marketing, no support page, no tutorials on YT, not even a manual (it gives a pop up in Mandarin? when you click on it). I am pretty experienced in MIDI and keyboard devices, and will have to figure some of the controls work using trial and error. For just piano, all you have to do is trun it on, but the more advanced functions, you'll have to figure out on your own. For example, splits, layers, key velocity settings, etc., are not well covered in the manual. I wish these manufacturers would figure out that a small investment in having a native English speaker write the manuals would help overall sales. Overall, this would be a good keyboard for children or casual users who dont want to spend three or more times the cost of this unit for better sounds, functions and better support.

This piano is honestly great; it looks high-quality and feels well-made, and the key weight is good. The sound is also crisp. Good for beginners like me, who want to have the piano for a few years to last. The only downside is that the sheet music holder is a little shorter, so a single sheet of paper will flop over on top without a binder, and the holder itself doesn't have the strongest connection. Also, the key pedal cord is a little short, but neither of these makes me unhappy with the playability of this keyboard. And for the price, it's well worth it.

The Build quality is great. I think most importantly, the weighted keys make this feel like a more expensive upright piano. For this price though, you can't go wrong. The built-in speakers are better than I imagined, but you can also connect them to external speakers for better sound. The midi works as expected, but its a bulky piano so its probably best to keep this on a proper keyboard stand nearby and run a longer usb cable if you need to connect via midi (it all depends on your computer setup here). My only other real gripe is when you turn the piano on, it doesn't remember the volume settings - it defaults to the same volume level every time, and then you have to manually change it again. Overall, its a great value for beginners and kids as well.

I don't know why no one mentioned this but DO NOT get this if you're looking for a portable keyboard. There's a battery area in the back that isn't usable at all (there's even a sticker stating that it's unusable). Also some of the keys are really quiet when played in succession. The wireless MIDI for your phone only worked with Simply Piano. It did not work with Perfect Piano or Flowkey. You might as well get a Yamaha or even a Casio for the same price and it will be a whole lot better than this thing. The stand for it is short as well. It's probably 3ft, if even that. The headphones are cheap as well. Unless you're planning to have this set up against a wall AND infront of an outlet, DO NOT GET THIS. The power cord provided is flimsy and so short that you'll need an extension cord to be able to play it without having to sit right by the wall (i.e. I currently have it right next to a full size bed and the cord doesn't even reach any of the outlets).

I tried all the key action on the big brands’ digital pianos under $1000. Roland was too hard to push. Yamaha felt mushy. Casio keys were too short, loose and sloppy. I was not happy with any of those. So I decided that if I was not going to be happy with any of those, then I might as well just buy an inexpensive one on Amazon. To my delight, this Strich digital piano keyboard has the exact lighter key action feel that I have been looking for in a digital piano. With full-size keys and weighted action that is on the light side means I can play longer without fatigue. The keys are easy to push down, bounce back and respond quickly, and it is a joy to play. All digital pianos sound like a real acoustic piano because when you push the key, it is playing back an actual recording of a real acoustic piano. This Strich piano uses the same technology and sounds exactly like an acoustic piano. I was looking for a simple digital piano that was easy to play and with authentic piano sound and feel and this Strich more than 100% fulfilled my expectations. While I am mainly interested in the piano, It does have many more features and sounds that are fun to explore. In my opinion, this inexpensive digital piano with its superb lighter key action, greatly outperforms the big brands by a wide margin and is way more than a bargain – it is a real steal. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

The piano actually sounds great and the keys feel really good, but it is slightly bowing/bending in the middle after only a day sitting on the stand. I think the keyboard itself isn’t quite sturdy enough for heavy use, traveling, and performing. The stand might not support it enough since it only sits on the sides and back edge. One of the buttons popped off right when it was set up as well, so we had to press it back on. My hubby really wanted to like this keyboard, but it just won’t serve his purposes.
