I got the STRICH SDP-120 88-key weighted keyboard for a teenager who’s learning piano, and honestly, it’s been a great choice. Quality: The overall build feels solid and well-made. This is an excellent keyboard for its price. It arrived within 2 days. When we unpacked it, at first we did not see the power adapter since it was taped under a styrofoam block. So we called Amazon support and they offered to send us a compatible power adapter (free). However, we eventually found the (hidden!) power adapter under the multitude of packaging. It is perfect for my 9 year old who has just started taking music lessons. The quality is good, and there was no assembly involved. We already had a stand, so it fit comfortably on it. I can tell the sound quality is better than the old Casio keyboard we had.

I chose this digital piano after researching several top brands (Yamaha, Kawai, Casio, Roland, Donner, etc.), and I’m glad I did. I’ve kept my 1985 Japanese-made Kawai upright tuned for years, but needed a digital option for headphone use and laptop connectivity. Pros: - Beautiful piano sound with weighted keys that feel remarkably close to my upright - Great value for the money - Includes all three pedals (I mainly use sustain) and headphones - Compact: fits easily in a small room (only 50½" wide) - No assembly required - Heavy: I'm using a Pyle Z-shape stand for stability - Excellent upgrade from my old 61-key Yamaha Cons: - User manual is unclear and seems like it was written by software engineers rather than for usability - Default volume resets to 12 after keyboard is turned off, or if it goes to sleep. This is too loud with headphones (I contacted Strich customer support who confirmed it can't be changed) - Included headphones are flimsy (I use my own) - Power cord is too short—I use a surge protector for more reach Overall, this is a solid, great-sounding keyboard that’s been a joy to play. Hoping it has a long, reliable life ahead.

Best purchase of my life. I wish I got it sooner. I'm VERY picky and have never purchased a keyboard because I NEED it to sound and feel like a real piano. I've had several pianos. I grew up playing. So the pitch/tone/feel are all ingrained in me and I have never found an affordable keyboard that meets my standards, until now. I moved across the country 5 years ago and didn't bring my upright piano and haven't had my own to practice on since moving. It is so big but like... its a whole 88 key piano. But I can pick it up with one arm and carry it. I'm only 5'3" for reference. I will say, my muscle memory of some practices are telling me these keys are SLIGHTLY smaller or maybe spaced differently. I played it on a real piano today and then played it on the keyboard when it came and I havent messed up that practice since I was in elementary school, but something is slightly off on this and making my fingers stumble. It might be that these keys are slightly heavier than real keys(which is probably better bc I'm sure they will loosen up and be just right) If you haven't been playing for 30 years, you probably won't even be able to tell. The headphones are great! I love that I can slam the keys when I need more soul (and not disturb anyone) and the full weight definitely gives you that! Its softer when you press lighter and louder when you press harder. I also LOVE the sustain lock button. It came with a 3 pedal set (which is amazing!) But if you have it in the bed or somewhere you cant press the pedal, you can lock the sustain on. It has a couple of other features that I havent played around with yet but so far I'm obsessed. I'm honestly very hard to please when it comes to purchasing products. This is an amazing price for an amazing product! My cat loves it too! Thank you!!
