  • Perfect for beginners—especially teens learning piano!
Color: Classic Black Set name: Weighted Digital Piano
I got the STRICH SDP-120 88-key weighted keyboard for a teenager who’s learning piano, and honestly, it’s been a great choice. Quality: The overall build feels solid and well-made. It doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy at all, and the keys have a nice weight to them. It definitely feels more like a real piano than a basic keyboard. Sound & Tone: The sound is really good for the price. The built-in speakers are loud and clear, and the piano tone sounds realistic enough for practicing and even just playing for fun. It’s not super fancy, but it sounds great for a beginner or teen. Function: There are a lot of useful features that make it fun and practical to use. The USB-MIDI and wireless connection make it easy to hook up to apps, which is perfect for learning. The included sustain pedal is a nice bonus too. Value & Affordability: This is where it really stands out. For a full 88-key weighted keyboard, the price is very reasonable. It’s a great option if you don’t want to spend a ton but still want something that feels like a real piano. Comfort & Feel: The weighted keys make a big difference. They feel comfortable to play and help build proper finger strength and technique. It’s a great setup for someone just starting out. Durability: So far it’s held up really well with regular use. It feels sturdy and reliable for everyday practice, especially for a teen who’s using it often. ✔️ Final Thoughts: This is an awesome starter piano for teens or beginners. It looks good, sounds good, and has everything needed to learn and enjoy playing. Definitely a 5-star buy for the price! ... show more

  • Wonderful lighter key action and sound.
Color: Classic Black Set name: Weighted Digital Piano
I tried all the key action on the big brands’ digital pianos under $1000. Roland was too hard to push. Yamaha felt mushy. Casio keys were too short, loose and sloppy. I was not happy with any of those. So I decided that if I was not going to be happy with any of those, then I might as well just buy an inexpensive one on Amazon. To my delight, this Strich digital piano keyboard has the exact lighter key action feel that I have been looking for in a digital piano. With full-size keys and weighted action that is on the light side means I can play longer without fatigue. The keys are easy to push down, bounce back and respond quickly, and it is a joy to play. All digital pianos sound like a real acoustic piano because when you push the key, it is playing back an actual recording of a real acoustic piano. This Strich piano uses the same technology and sounds exactly like an acoustic piano. I was looking for a simple digital piano that was easy to play and with authentic piano sound and feel and this Strich more than 100% fulfilled my expectations. While I am mainly interested in the piano, It does have many more features and sounds that are fun to explore. In my opinion, this inexpensive digital piano with its superb lighter key action, greatly outperforms the big brands by a wide margin and is way more than a bargain – it is a real steal. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. ... show more

  • Beautiful rich piano sound, keys feel like my upright Kawai
Color: Classic Black Set name: Weighted Digital Piano
I chose this digital piano after researching several top brands (Yamaha, Kawai, Casio, Roland, Donner, etc.), and I’m glad I did. I’ve kept my 1985 Japanese-made Kawai upright tuned for years, but needed a digital option for headphone use and laptop connectivity. Pros: - Beautiful piano sound with weighted keys that feel remarkably close to my upright - Great value for the money - Includes all three pedals (I mainly use sustain) and headphones - Compact: fits easily in a small room (only 50½" wide) - No assembly required - Heavy: I'm using a Pyle Z-shape stand for stability - Excellent upgrade from my old 61-key Yamaha Cons: - User manual is unclear and seems like it was written by software engineers rather than for usability - Default volume resets to 12 after keyboard is turned off, or if it goes to sleep. This is too loud with headphones (I contacted Strich customer support who confirmed it can't be changed) - Included headphones are flimsy (I use my own) - Power cord is too short—I use a surge protector for more reach Overall, this is a solid, great-sounding keyboard that’s been a joy to play. Hoping it has a long, reliable life ahead. ... show more
