Great weight, soft and drapes without wrinkling. I washed it in cold water on delicate and air dried before sewing, and it did not change the look or luster at all. Highly recommend. Would be beautiful for formal wear.

Color, drape, weight, weave, texture of this fabric are SUPERIOR to ANY OTHER fabric I purchased on Amazon. The SOFT, SUPPLE drape, and pliability of this weave is ACTUALLY SATIN ! It does not feel like recycled plastic as some "satin fabrics" do. It is a bit HEAVIER than a good quality satin sheet. A dress made with this fabric will be heavy, however it will flow and bounce as you walk. Not appropriate for warmer weather especially if lined. It does snag/pull if needle is not sharp and new. Smooth, short finger nails or gloves will prevent any snags while in contact with fabric. So, kitty's need to stay away. 🙁 ... show more

The fabric I ordered seemed to be an emerald green color with lots of shine. The fabric I received was a pleasant weight and structure but was not the color shown in the photos.     • Very nice, medium weight, beautiful color, with a satin sheen.

I have not used this yet, but I like the fabric. I has a little stretch (less than 5%). Would work for a bias cut design, but not for a pattern that requires a stretchy fabric. I'm thinking of using it for a clutch.
