It's a gorgeous color and I'm going to use it for another project but I'm so disappointed that it's not stretchable. Now I have to start shopping again for what I had intended to use this fabric for.

    • Very thin, but good for costumes.
Great color, a true eggplant purple. Very, very thin/lightweight. This would not be good for any garment that needs structure, but perfect for kids costumes. Not something I’d use for “real” clothes as it is obviously cheap polyester. You MUST finish the edges of this either by heat-sealing or applying a product like fray-check, even if you plan to serge the edges, I would either apply fray-check before cutting out the pattern pieces OR use the fine point attachment of a wood burning tool to cut out your pieces because this is not strong fabric. It is loosely woven and cheap, as you would expect from the price. This will not hold up in a seam that experiences any stress, definitely use interfacing or underlining. That said, it is perfect for a costume my 3 year old will wear a handful of times before outgrowing. ... show more
