I bought the color "dark gold" because it appeared copper colored (like a penny) on the computer screen. However, it is more like a cafe au lait color (light brown) in person. In photos it shows up as VERY gold (with a lot of yellow and no red that would lend itself to the copper color I thought I was getting). It will still work for my project (hat lining) and I do like that it has some stretch--though it's only one way stretch (not two). Still for $9 a yard, it's not bad quality. Definitely not super cheap feeling, but also not super lux, either. Middle of the road will get it done, though.

The fabric is not charmeuse, has no stretch, and is very thin. It also is not wrinkle resistant, it came wrinkled. The orange is much more neon than in the photos, and is also very cool. If I had wanted a cheap, thin, non-stretchy fabric I wouldn’t have paid the extra 4 bucks to get the incorrect shade.
