  • Good, not amazing, still good
First review, haven't used it yet, I will update later when I do: 1 - Axle pin is 20mm, make sure your bike uses 20mm or larger. If you have larger, the centering cone possibly has too big of knobs on the set screws, you may need to update to an M8 nylon tipped set screws. I plan on making/machining new axle sizes, but I may or may not need bushings for the rotating head too. 2 - This will scratch your rims unless you add some padding/blocks for the outside of the rim onto the main frame tube. You could buy the magnetic Rabaconda blocks, but I'm just going to use 1.5" square wood with duct tape, don't overthink this, you may only need thick duct tape and no blocks, depends on your wheels/brakes. 3 - I had to debur this thing, the axle and the inside tube to the bead breaker, no biggie, just need a file/grinder. 4 - Needs duct tape on the locating pin to stop it from marking your wheel, no biggie. 5 - My instructions were shredded from poor packaging, and they suck, takes a minute to figure out. Luckily no shipping damage, inside things were wrapped well. 6 - This will NOT do 12" wheels, I think it will do 16" as is, but I think if you cut an angle in 1 of the tubes you could get it down to 14" wheels, by my calculations, double check for yourself. 7 - You may bust your knuckles on the axle when you bead break, hold the bar to the side to clear it, the Rabaconda probably has a curved handle or something to prevent this. Positives, does seem sturdy, I should do what it says, collapses down without tools for storage, I'm still happy with the purchase, it's a decent China copy, could be worse. Use Rabaconda help videos to know how to use it. ... show more

  • Broke first time out.....
Main steal rod snapped at the threads, first time use. I did not even get the bead off before it snapped. 3/4 steal rod, how weak does that metal have to be to snap like that! Ugh... you get what you pay for I guess. Should have just dropped the money on the expensive one.

  • Cheap for a reason
I knew I wasn’t gonna get great quality but I was at least hoping everything was in the box. Do not buy, was going to purchase off of Temu until I saw this on Amazon. I couldn’t even put it together to test it out. It also came scuffed and the box was barely put back together. Everything key to putting it together was missing. ... show more

  • Wram the tire with a heat gun and use plenty of soapy water or bead grease.
When buying this to change cruiser tires i.e. Harley bagger, make sure you buy the following things to go with it. 20mm i/d shaft collars at least 4, 8mm set screws as the knobs for the centering cones will hit the belt sprocket. The shaft collars are so that when the centering cone is in the belt drive you can tighten it up as you can't access the set screws. Bead grease, and a cinch strap or ratchet strap, because the rim stop pin is in the wrong place and non adjustable an extra tire bar to help with mounting and dismounting, and a carrying bag at least 45in long found tent bags here that I will eventually purchase. All in all it does function like its more expensive brother but does need some tweeks to make it work. ... show more

  • Not perfect but it works.
Figured I'd write a review since there weren't any when I ordered. It's honestly ok. The set up instructions were terrible but if you have a mechanical mind you'll figure it out. It takes a bit of messing around to get it all to work and I would guess if I hadn't changed 100's of tires using a machine it would have been harder to get the hang of. For me it was worth the $ to get this instead of the "snake" competition. ... show more

  • You pay for what you get. !
I will say , first time using was not user friendly, no info on set up .. all kinds of extras , but what the hell they do beat me. No add on offered as my rear shaft is 16 mm , the shaft that comes with unit is 20 mm. So off to the machine shop to have second one made. So the end result is you pay for what you get. Good luck. 😎 ... show more

  • Worth it!
Made quick work of mounting the notoriously difficult to mount tusk 2 track tires. Note: if using spoked wheels be sure to tie off by the spoke instead of using the provided anti-rotation pin (see robaconda vids).
