    • Big and affordable, but not very elastic

It's big and it's cheap. The material feels just fine, it might not be any special "gaming" weave but it's much more important to get an affordable mousepad that's big and spend the rest on a quality mouse than to blow your budget on a $40 mousepad that isn't half this thing's size. It's a classy solid black that doesn't clash with anything or look unprofessional for a workstation, the edges are stitched so it won't fray easily, and the sheer surface area that's coming in contact with your desk along with the weight of your keyboard will make sure this thing won't budge. Anything heavy you leave on it will leave an impression, like the feet of your keyboard, but that's to be expected. Just don't put heavy stuff where your mouse goes. The only problem is the packaging. I can understand that a mousepad this big needs to be rolled up for shipping, so one end being furled and not laying down flat is OK. Just put the furly end on the opposite side you use your mouse and you won't notice the difference. No, the issue with my gigantic mousepad is that there's a gigantic horizontal crease midway through that makes it look like it was folded in half and snags on my mouse. The issue is that they wrap the damn thing with the cloth side facing outwards, so the very tightly-wound rubber band holding it in place leaves a massive crease that damages it. It's really dumb and so easily avoidable by just making the rubber side face outwards, no cares how the rubber looks. So now I'm stuck with a giant mouse pad that might as well only be 7.75" wide because mousing over that crease will throw off my aim. Hopefully the crease will go away over time, but it's incredibly annoying. ... show more

I was looking for a good size mouse pad that would hold my keyboard, HOTAS, and mouse so I wouldn't have to keep lifting it up and re-positioning it because it would keep running off the end. This defiantly is the one and has plenty of room to spare to move the mouse, keyboard, and keep your arms comfortable. It is heavy enough that it does not move or slide around all the time, and you can write on top of it if necessary. It is easy to keep clean, just brush it off daily and if it gets that bad you can just shake it off like a rug. I have had it for about 1.5 years and found it to be quite durable and it has held up well, even with the kitty kats walking by and sleeping on it when they feel the need to supervise what I am doing. I would recommend this product and have plans to purchase a second one for the second workstation at the computer table, I like it that much and I am glad I have found it. Worst mousepad I’ve ever received. It has permanent ripples in it. I tried for over a week to flatten this out with a giant wooden trunk that is filled with clothes. It had weight to it, and I even used extra barbell weights, yet these ripples are still here even after leaving it underneath it for over a week. Mousepads are supposed to be flat, so the mouse can glide over it with no obstructions. Having a bunch of ripples on the mousepad hinders this movement. And this seller doesn’t let you return items that aren’t brand new, and still in the original packaging(or they might charge a restocking fee/ return item to you at your expense) so I just have to bite the bullet for this PoS. Would absolutely not recommend, find a different mousepad from a different seller. ... show more

This is a good product for a very good price! The product came rolled up so there were not any creases in the pad when it was laid out flat. I have a lap board that I made out of 1/4 inch hardboard for my laptop. I got tired of having to retrieve the small mouse pad that I had been using. I got to thinking about gluing the mouse pad on to the lap board, but then wondered if anyone made larger pads that might fit on the full board. A search on Amazon revealed many in the 12" x 36" size but I really wanted something about 15" x 24" so I kept looking through many pages until I found this. This was just what I was looking (XL Original - 27.5" x 15.5" x 3mm) for and was much less expensive than many of the other options. And Prime to boot! PRODUCT UPDATE I liked this mouse pad so much that I ordered another one. BUT what I received was a mouse pad that was the wrong dimensions, and in fact did not match any of the dimensions shown for their products. I initiated a product return through Amazon. Shortly after that, I received a message from the seller that they would be happy to send me the correct mouse pad and that I could just go ahead and keep the incorrect one. No need to return it! Now, that is what I call GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am impressed and would have no hesitation to do business with them again. I applied spray adhesive to the top of the lap board and then laid it down on the mouse pad's backside. When the adhesion was complete, I trimmed the small amount of excess using a box knife. I now have my lap board fully covered with mouse pad material and I couldn't be more pleased. ... show more

Like a lot of other reviewers have stated, this thing does have some issues with lying flat. Mine isn't really that bad, just a few spots where it likes to try to roll under, but overall it is not a big deal. I think if there was something other than the stitching keeping the neoprene from stretching (like maybe a nylon sheet glued to the underside) it would not be so wavy around the edges, but again, it's not really all that noticeable for me. This thing is otherwise superb. Mouse moves over it very fluidly and quietly. Accommodates a full sized keyboard and a mouse with room to spare. Mainly I got it to soften the surface of my desk against my wrists and elbows and it does that wonderfully. ... show more
