Way better than your traditional fabric mousepad, it doesn’t actually wear down the skates on my mouse very fast. I was hesitant on buying for the fear I would have to constantly replace the skates but if you have a life and a job and game normally you will be fine. Wish I would have bought one years ago. Also people were saying you have to wear a long sleeve shirt or a sleeve to use this mouse pad, not true at all. As long as you shower regularly anyways. ... show more

Before I begin, I haven't used a mouse-pad for over 4 years (yes I'm crazy). This is actually a really great product. I'm using a Corsair mmo mouse and it feels great but the thing is that it's on the big side of mouse pads, so if you have a small desk, I'd recommend looking for a smaller version if it's avaliable. In all honesty, the nousepad is great and feels awesome. it obviously takes time to get used to though. 100% absolutely not worth the money in my opinion. I actually compared this to other offhand cheap glass pads, while the wallhack is definitely better, its not much different. feels very similar besides few small things. definitely not worth the price when. you can get something extremely similar for half the price. But I’m a fan, as I understand it this isn’t like a traditional glass so it’s less glide and less speed, but I love it for control and more speed than cloth. ... show more

The presentation is nice, over the top, but premium. The surface was smooth, and the mouse glide was excellent… but there were too many negatives to justify the purchase. 1: The mouse would stop tracking randomly. I tried with both my Basilisk Pro V3 and my G502 Hero Lightspeed. They would be tracking fine one moment, and then just randomly stop and I would have to pick up the mouse and set it back down to get it to track again. I tried all the tips, changing LOD, wiping down the surface, etc… nothing worked, I must have got a dud because there are many out there who did not have this experience. Switching back to a traditional mouse pad immediately fixed this issue for both mice. 2: It was uncomfortable on my wrist. After about 30min during a gaming session while using this pad, my wrist would begin to hurt. Switched back to my 3mm cloth pad and once again the issue was resolved immediately. 3: Scratchy/Noisy. I live at the edge of Colorado where it is really dry, and therefore really dusty… This pad attracts the dust so you need to wipe it down hourly or it will feel gritty and start producing scratchy noises. Once again, a win for the cloth mat. 4: Size. It’s bigger than you think it is, trust me. Measure it out first! The SP-004 has a slightly smaller version, check that out if you aren’t sure. 5: Aesthetic. It’s just not very visually pleasing to go from having a custom cloth pad that matches your setup, to having a giant white or black slab of glass on your desk unless your setup is already exclusively black or white. 6: Value? I can’t honestly understand why this thing costs so much when it has so many draw backs. For me, I can get 3 quality cloth pads to change the aesthetics of my setup as I swap out my keyboards for the same price and never changing the performance or needing to adjust how I play. I can only see this being valuable if you play FPS games competitively and need every possible edge you can get… and you don’t experience the discomfort that I did while playing. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this product solely based on my tracking issues… BUT, assuming I got a dud and they normally track “amazingly,” I still wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but competitive FPS players. It’s unsightly, uncomfortable, has a learning curve, should be used specifically with super light mice to prevent over-travel (so if you prefer heavy mice the learning curve will be even higher), and it requires constant maintenance to feel and sound the way it’s supposed to. TLDR: I would try a cheap glass pad first and upgrade to a higher quality pad later if you decide you actually like playing on glass. ... show more

I'm apparently a goob and didn't bother measuring my desk before grabbing this, so that's totally my bad, cause this thing is a chonker. BUT this thing was awesome. It's smooth, super easy to clean, and with absolutely zero drag. The outer box was so cool, and it only elevated the overall vibe to the product. With that said, I don't think it's worth the $130 price point. It's awesome, but at the end of the day it is still just a piece of glass. Most of that cost, I'd imagine, is going into the case, but that's just a baseless assumption. $60 to $80 feels more appropriate for what you get, but that's just me ... show more
