I'm a long time Story of Seasons fan, and while I've enjoyed other games in the series, I was REALLY excited for this remake. Grand Bazaar is a remake of the original DS game (while it was still under the Harvest Moon title) and was one of my absolute favorite DS games in the SOS line-up. I usually wait to buy the SOS games until they're on sale for a really steep discount but I couldn't wait on this one. The pre-order comes with the physical game copy, a copy of the original soundtrack, an artbook, a cloth poster, and a little sheep stuffed animal. I own most of the LEs of the switch SOS games, and I will say the sheep is definitely one of my favorites of all the animals they've given away (aside from the strawberry cow lol). Usually the LE copy comes with any DLC, however, for some reason this time around, the PHYSICAL LE did not come with the DLC, only the digital deluxe edition did. The DLC is $9.99 online and it mostly comes with cosmetics. I ended up buying it because a hair style I liked was locked by DLC. It otherwise doesn't have anything else. The game is a lot of fun itself; I adore the bazaar mechanic as much as I used to, and I'm stuck on which bachelor to romance because I really like all of them for different reasons. I like that as you grow the bazaar, more NPCs come wandering through town like in SOS: PoOT. The neighbors are all super cute too, and I love that they brought portraits back, and made it an option that you can turn on or off. They also have Japanese voice audio if you prefer JP seiyuu like I do. Overall, I've put almost 40 hours into the game since it's released, and I've adored every minute of it. I think it's a great line-up if you enjoy farming sims in general, but of the SOS games out on switch, I do think this is the best one yet. Definitely would recommend. ... show more

Fans of the OG and newcomers will LOVE this remake!! The addition of voice acting and the new cutscenes for Heart/Town events make Zepher Town feel so alive and as a longtime fan of the series has skyrocketed Grand Bazaar as my favourite title. I will say there is no longer swimming and the wind only blows East, I do wish swimming was still included and maybe the wind could change direction daily or something but honestly it's such a minor thing. Villagers/Love Interests also have little "quests" every few heart ranks that you have to fulfill before you can progress their heart gauges further and I quite enjoy this feature - it helps to pace the flow of the game more, the relationships feel more meaningful, and I'm encouraged to dabble in EVERYTHING from the get-go. Also let me say the Bazaar is insanely fun, I remember it feeling like a chore in the OG but now I'm counting the days to every Saturday and planning how to make the most of my monthly trends to bring major profits! All around I am deeply pleased with this remake that feels like an actual remake and a major upgrade from the original and has set high expectations for the next entry in SoS! If your a fan of the original Grand Bazaar, if this is your first experience with Grand Bazaar, or if you're just entirely new to the SoS games - do yourself and your library a favour and pick this up! It's an excellent game. It's not only become my favorite farm game, it's one of my favorite games period. It has a peaceful little town mountain town full of charming characters, looks beautiful, and has wonderful music. Preparing for the bazaar throughout the week is really fun and you can do it at your own pace. There's no rush. Dropping stuff in a shipping bin to sell every day is going to be so dull after this game. I love all the character events. The festivals are fun. If you're on the edge about buying this game, believe me, it's amazing. I am a big Story of Seasons (formerly Harvest Moon) fan since the SNES version and have played all of them. Like, ALL of them. The DS/Wii era had the best games. Grand Bazaar was good, but not my favorite from the era. I bought the game because I support Marvelous any opportunity I get because I want these games to be around forever. But let me talk about the game. If you played the OG Grand Bazaar, this is NOT a 1:1. It's a reimagining, not a remake. The game has so much extra content that it doesn't even feel like it's the same game. Like yes, the basics of using the windmills is there and the characters, but everything else is so different in a VERY GOOD WAY. It also has a quality for life improvement I never thought would be necessary: the game tells you when any event is happening like the cutscenes with the townsfolk and the marriage candidates. It's really a life saver so you don't have to go on reading guide. TL;DR: The game is not a 1:1 remake, it has more content and it's extremely fun. Get it. ... show more

This is a heartwarming farming adventure that invites you to breathe new life into a sleepy mountain town's cherished bazaar. You will spend your days tending crops and adorable animals, then share your harvest at the weekly market where you'll watch a struggling stall blossom into the heart of the community. I have been playing this for months and I'm enjoying every moment of it. Especially the gorgeous visuals, and wonderfully voiced characters who feel like true friends (do not skip the cutscenes, they're worth it), windmill mechanics, and twelve wonderful souls to potentially fall in love with, this cozy gem offers one of the most rewarding journeys in farming games is transforming not just a bazaar, but an entire town's spirit. ... show more
