I have been looking to redo our garage shelving for about a year, hoping to save space. These came in today and I absolutely love them. They were so easy to assemble and set up that we already have most of our stuff switched over. I enjoy the darker coloring and the solid shelves which makes it so much easier to use. I especially like the fact there is NO particleboard. Being in the garage I do not want to deal with the weather affects of particleboard not to mention the discoloration if something spills or the nasty bugs they attract. They are definitely a winning solution for us, to where we may order a few more. (The only disadvantage is one came in with a few small dents, that were quite easy to hide.) *****Update***** We ordered another shelf and found major problems!!! Attaching a photo to see if that help understand which is bad. The One Today Only!!! Is Garbage. Not sure if it is an old design or their new one... This One Only... Is super flimsy!!! Twist and bends. It is extremely hard to go together. It has sharp edges!!! And a wimpy mallet as shown on the right! It does nothing but destroy itself as you use it. It took the same amount of time to do this one as it did the other four put together! The one that came today is awful! So... Not sure if it will be the same for all. But if you get the smaller mallet on the right. Expect to have difficulties and be prepared to be unsatisfied. Oh. And the colors are not the same. So dissatisfied! ... show more

I use to build auto steering columns & torque converters for13 yrs. Im the fix it lady. I build things all the time & its very easy for me. The design of these shelves & how they want them to assemble are horrible. Somebody is going to get hurt. The side posts wont stand to hook in place. I spend hours trying different ways. I even after hours, tried Duct tape on every connection. And the minute I needed to move them , the collapsed several times. Dont buy, its not worth the risk of cutting yourself or it falling &/or collapsing on someone. Horrible product that should just have holes in the posts to put a nut & bolt into. I will now have to go purchase wood & build the shelves myself. All I have is a pile of bent metal posts that are worthless. Spend the money on something better. These are not heavy duty. They are flimsy & poorly designed to where you can't even use a nut & bolt to secure the posts. I've built lots of things, these don't even make sense , just collapse when trying to assemble. Will never buy shelves off Amazon again. I bought from 2 different companies & same exact units came. Im very concerned that people will be hurt trying to assemble or use these crap units. Don't say I didn't warn ya. ... show more

I still haven't managed to put it together. It takes two people. Then, when you put one part on, the other part hits the previous one, knocking it out of place. I think I will send it back. I have put others together and have not had this trouble. I now have it put together. It is nice and sturdy.

Shelving is decent quality but does look like a lower quality than some earlier reviews (pieces also look different in instructions than in person, another indication of a recent "redesign"). Shelves were damaged prior to arrival (in manufacture, storage or shipping). One corner plastic piece was broken while something dented one shelf in 2 places. I sent pictures and description to the customer service email on instructions and they responded with a request for order number. Once that was sent they ghosted me completely. The set is still usable but slightly degraded. There are a lot of choices out there for shelving - choose another one. ... show more
