I am getting rid of my tv and small entertainment center and needed a place to put my cds and DVDs but in an out of the way location and neat and tidy. I decided to look for some kind of vintage looking trunk to fit under the armchair in the corner of my living room. After much searching here on Amazon, I couldn't find anything the right size and that didn't cost an arm and a leg. So, then I decided to search for a basket. This cloth "basket" was one of the products that came up in the search results. It turned out to be the perfect size and a nice dark brown, so it's not very noticeable under the chair. I also like how it has fabric and a drawstring at the top to keep the dust out of the things I put in it. It works great for my needs. The sides don't stand up well until you fill it, but once it's filled, it works perfectly. That's the only negative I can think of for this. If you need something that will stand up on its own, this isn't it. But if that's not an issue, and you're going to keep it filled with items, like for storage, this is perfect. It is well made, sturdy, perfect size, and has the fabric cover to keep out the dust.

Really cute and seems quite sturdy. Didn't expect it to really be made of woven wood which makes it different from the common non-woven "cloth" AKA plastic or made with plasticisers; if there is actual cloth present, somewhere like the lining therr is some form of synthetic material/plastic. made in China, and no offense to the people, I feel hesitant to buy anything plastic due to reports of BPS replacing of BPA in plastic and lack of regulation. Also the issue of air pollution affecting the products which I don't see how it couldn't. In that regard this product is better for going the extra mile to make this wood. And cute. since it is made in China, which I didn't know prior, I felt compelled to clean it but didn't know how without ruining it or making things worse with toxic paint getting everywhere. So I wiped it down and sprayed it with alcohol or distilled vinegar, one of those. I don't know if either affects the wood or the paint because a few days later, it was given away, mistook for the communal thrift store pile. Admittedl, I was disappointed. so I don't know what the results were of cleaning it. The colors, BTW, are super bright which people might feel differently about. I personally liked it (although I knew it was the result of bright paint which inevitably means it's not exactly great for you) I wondered what the gold filigree was made of. Painted wood as well? it was shiny too which might be a shellac if not glossy paint. It would be nice if all these companies were completely transparent about every ingredient that goes into their products. Making it invisible can mean it's even more harmful. To make these with natural dye and non-shellacked at this price point ith probably currently uncurrently or too difficult for a company that needs to hit a certain profit margin. eventually maybe there will be a tipping point as I see more all cloth and even organic cloth materials. This company I think must be a pioneer in that regard, at least for home organization containers ;-) : considering aesthetics and this price range, the Warm Home appears to make cute, well-made, and relatively conscientious products.

After trying many basket sizes and colors, I finally found one that works for my space and taste. The ones I ordered previously were either too large or extremely too small! Then I saw this one and decided to give it a try and it is perfect for my small space! It is made with quality materials, there is no smell to it, it helps me keep small booklets, pens, and medication very organized. It sits on my table very secure and it is a beautiful basket! If you need a medium sized basket for organization, this is it!

They work perfectly for my cubbies that I have in my sewing cabinet my hubby made for me. Because my cabinet was homemade the shelves are not standard or all the same size. These baskets do not have a solid bottom. This is not necessary for me but if you need a sturdy bottom they may not work for you. You can add a piece of wood or corrugated cardboard to the bottom if you need to.
