I bought 6 cans of this in 2015, which I've almost finished off as of early 2023 (just placed a second order). I've used it on at least 5 or 6 different vehicles and feel I can make a few observations. It works pretty well as a maintenance product on plastic trim that is in overall good shape, but this is not a restoration product. It works reasonably well on something like a Jeep Wrangler's fender flares and plastic bumper end caps so long as they aren't already fading/UV damaged. The body cladding on most cars will benefit from regular application. Does well on the black bits of truck bumpers, as well as lower air dams. Because it's an aerosol it works particularly well on complicated grill/air intake areas that are hard to reach with your fingers. It goes on a little thick, so I like to let it dwell for a minute before wiping it down/leveling it with a microfiber towel. It will streak a little with rain/water (sometimes) on vertical surfaces, so I probably wouldn't recommend it for something like a Chevy Avalanche that has a lot of cladding high up on the vehicle. Longevity is its chief downfall, but a single can does last a long time. It wipes off cleanly from paint if you overspray and won't leave anything noticeable behind. I finally found a great product for my Avalanche to restore the cladding. Just spray it on and it looks like new. 1 can does about 1-1/2 times. Takes me about 15 minutes to do the whole truck.

It is very slippery on rubber car mats, even if you apply it and let it sit for days prior to use. I do not recommend using this on a driver’s floor mat. It definitely restored color back into my Weathertech mats though! This product is intended for trim.
